  1. There are two tunnels that go from Boston to the airport. One of them is going to be closed. Outside of that, it won't be too bad.
  2. Just note that a passport card is only good for land crossings. If there is an emergency and you need to fly back from an island it won't do you any good.
  3. You'll tour more of the island. Possibly a couple more stops in Acadia.
  4. I believe Uber has finally signed a contract to pay the port for access. If not, you will need to meet the Uber driver outside the port.
  5. I could be mistaken, but I believe in this case Princess does require everyone to have passports so there would be no issue in the unlikely event of having to disembark due to an emergency at a port of call.
  6. There are no car rentals in Bar Harbor. There are electric cars that are rented by the tender pier, during season.
  7. As the ship has not sailed yet under Carnival, we won't know until it does.
  8. I'm sure the WiFi itself on the ships is fine. It's the internet access that's questionable.

    Caves?

Yes, Crystal and Fantasy Caves is an attraction that costs admission. To get there, take the ferry to St Georges, then you can take a bus to the caves. You could take a taxi, but it will be a lengthy trip.
  10. If a passport is required and you don't have one, you aren't getting on the ship.
  11. Outside of Celebrity in concierge, I have only cruised on one cruise line that has offered a MDR lunch on embarkation day. And I never made it.
  12. All you can do is ask. Expect to be told no, but be happy if it's a yes.
  13. Only if the cabin is categorized as a Havana cabin.
  14. I'm not sure about that excursion, but a lot of the dolphin excursions have a watcher ticket available. Just note that no cameras are allowed.
  15. Given this information, you might need to wait for an accessible taxi to show up. I would assume the wrangler can call for one.
  16. At this point, I always assume the ship is sailing at full load.
  17. The Apps are generally not accurate until you are actually on the ship.
  18. I would still recommend the notarized letter. The issue is if he finds out and complains to CBP that you took the kids out of the country without his permission, you'll run into issues when you return.
  19. The embarkation lunch is really nothing to write home about. However, it's nice to have the option versus fighting the buffet.
  20. I think only the round trip sailings are there. I believe the Zaandam is doing one-ways to/from Montreal so you would need to find alternate parking.
  21. Whoever is wrangling the taxis should be able to get you an accessible one.
  22. Violating the PVSA has a fine. And that $762 is per person.
  23. It's a required stop on the Seattle round trips to satisfy the PVSA.
  24. I've seen people asked to dump their coffee.
  25. 4 days before your cruise, post to John Heald's Facebook page with names and cabin numbers and he will forward to the Maitre D.
