  1. I envy the people that are able to do this. I don't own enough clothes to ship my suitcase 10 days ahead of time. I'm doing laundry the day before to pack it all.
  2. Last time I was on the Equinox, the downstairs was used for fixed seating. I believe there were tables for 2. Of course, ours was a table of 8, for 2, as none of our tablemates ever showed up.
  3. That would be a no. Also, no, they won't be able to eat in Luminae with you unless you pay for it.
  4. There is an insurance board right here on CC that might assist you.
  5. Since I want CFAR and existing conditions covered, I have to buy insurance usually within 10 days of initial deposit.
  6. Correct, you are guaranteed to be in a mini-suite or better, anywhere on the ship.
  7. It would connect to the ship's cellular. Probably expensive.
  8. Just note that I believe the scuba excursions require you to already be certified.
  9. Is the cruise advertised as ending in Hawaii to let on new passengers? If not, then while not against any laws, might not be allowed.
  10. In all honesty, picking an Alaskan cruise based on the bells and whistles of the ship is the wrong way to do it. Find the itinerary you like, then find which ship makes the most sense.
  11. Which port? If Canaveral going out of MCO, I'd be worried.
  12. Whether or not you get off the ship, you are still entering Canada so a visa, if required, will be needed. If needed and not obtained, she won't be able to embark.
  13. I believe that some of conditions of the cruise line policies go against NYS regulations, so they can't be sold in NYS.
  14. This was changed pre-pandemic. The Havana area is only open to Havana cabins 24x7.
  15. This thread has turned ugly. There have been many removed posts.
  16. Just to note, the drink package is only valid on board. The bars/restaurants in port will wish to be paid for any purchases.
  17. I'd probably go the night before and spend the night in a hotel. That way no pressure to get to the port. It's been ages since I lived on LI, but I can't imagine the BQE or other roads to the Verrazano have gotten any better.
  18. Just to make it clear, I'm not suggesting that the person should bring their gummies. If I were in that situation, I wouldn't either. I wouldn't risk it. I was just stating that for a product, such as a gummy, the odds of it being caught are probably small. However, I wouldn't suggest they press their luck.
  19. The answer is no, you can't bring these gummies aboard. Now, whether or not you will get caught is a different matter. While I wouldn't do it myself, I would expect that gummies would go undetected.
