  1. They probably haven't loaded this year's cruises into the system to prepay yet.
  2. I've never done a TA, plus I'm a US citizen, but as I recall, it was a pretty quick process. With that said, your trip being a TA, plus not being a US citizen, may add a couple of hurdles to the process.
  3. The fact that you are from the UK doesn't make any difference about CBP. Everyone needs to go through CBP. Assuming Cape Liberty is your first US port, you will go through as you leave the ship. Assuming you have a later flight, shouldn't be an issue.
  4. Nothing stopping you from wearing shorts. Whether or not you'd want to, that's a different story.
  5. I accept that you need to tip the tour guide. What gets me is when they say the driver and the guide are separate. I'm sorry, they can split the tips.
  6. I'm not aware of any public transportation near the Hampton Inn.
  7. I can't imagine taking an Alaska cruise and not getting off the ship....
  8. And that's why Cruise Critic has the ports of calls boards. That's where you research what to do at the ports.
  9. Since your question isn't related to Royal Caribbean, you should post on the ports of call boards. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/99-st-croix/ https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/329-st-kitts-amp-nevis/ https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/82-st-thomasst-john/
  10. In all honesty, I would ask on board before you go shopping to see what will happen.
  11. You should visit the ports of call boards for your ports for suggestions.
  12. Yeah, I wouldn't be walking around that area of Chelsea.
  13. I would expect that your steward will take care of this for you.
  14. Please note that you should be using the ship's cups to fill your own cup.
  15. My understanding is that alcohol confiscated during embarkation is poured down the drain.
  16. As an IT Security guy, all I can say is that using outdated phones that are running software no longer supported by the vendor can put you more at risk for security issues. Just be careful.
  17. Yeah, I just ordered a new ipad for that reason. Unfortunately, I test things for work so I need one that has current OS.
  18. You are assigned to Blu. If you wish to eat in the MDR, ask the host at Blu to make arrangements for you.
  19. I know at one point it was weekly. Not sure if that is still the case.
  20. It's very common for apps to not support older versions of the Android OS, especially once Google stops supporting them.
  21. Personally, while I hope it's available on stateroom TVs for those that wish to see it, I hope it's not available in public spaces. Not all of us want to watch it/have it forced down our throats.
