  1. We book suites and I wear gray jeans every night in Luminae.
  2. Millie is also my favorite ship. We have sailed on her twice lately. Oct 2021 and June 2022. Millie is a great ship for Alaska. Suites are very nice on Millie, great location mostly on deck 6. We will be on Summit in May.
  3. We have carried off our luggage once on Millie as a suite guest. We left from MC out the side door on to the outer deck with a separate exit for suites. It was great.
  4. If you leave when your number is call you will see port staff still setting up each group normally in rows. All number 1's will be grouped together, not by suite.
  5. As a suite guest we were assigned group 1. We wait in MC or the Retreat. When your ready to leave someone from the lounge will escort you to the exit.
  6. With the Edge and Celebrity seeming to be going for a younger group. A TV now is just a monitor for streaming digital content. I've seen many ads for Celebrity.
  7. On another post I said if Celebrity has only E Class ships I'm gone. Prime Rib comes in 2nd. 3rd is Crème brûlée. It is hard to cook m-rare prime rib at home for 2. Has anyone been able to order PR in Luminae with advance notice. Celebrity seems to have already gotten rid of the chocolate sphere in Luminae, at least on the 7 night sailings.
  8. Does not the room attendant each morning change the bed into a couch. Will the room attendant make the bed after my lunch, so I can take a nap or is the change made while at dinner.
  9. Over the years I have found Celebrity to be consistent with being inconsistent.
  10. Edge is not sailing Alaska until 2024. Since the restart we have done 4 cruises. 3 of them have been Alaska cruises. 2 were on Millie and 1 on Solstice. The Millennium would be very nice, but adding airfare to Anchorage and transfer to Seward. I decided to pass on the Millennium. The Solstice out of Seattle would be the simplest for us. We are 30 mins from the cruise terminal. Eclipse out of Canada Place is about a 3 hour drive from Seattle. In my eyes Eclipse has the better itinerary. I like Hubbard Glacier, Icy Strait Point and glassblowing. If I was already having to fly and could add 2 days in Seward, book Millie. Otherwise I would sail out of Vancouver over Seattle to see Hubbard Glacier. Photo of HG June 2023.
  11. First we were just on Solstice last Nov and we had the divider open with our friends next store. When it comes to the M Class ships in general the only balconies that can be opened are on deck 11 A1's. These cabins were added to M Class ships after Solstice was built with the new style of dividers. Along with Blu. Blu was cut out of the MDR. Photos from Summit.
  12. We were on Solstice last Nov and tendered at Cabo. Celebrity did use a local company that did some of the tendering. The local company ship was bigger than Celebrity tenders. I'm not saying the local company can help with your needs, but they might.
  13. While I was on Solstice last Sept. Celebrity app did not show the right CC points for DH. I had more points than him. Our points should be the same. I talked to the CCH that I have know for years. She looked DH up and had the right number of points in her database.
  14. When it comes to the S class ship for us it was all about location. Solstice ship we have booked 2105 and 2107 a number of times. You have a larger balcony with overhang. Walk right out to the pool. Up one deck for Oceanview café to bring food back to the cabin. Cabin numbers are different on Reflection because Celebrity moved the pool up one deck and added more cabins/suites.
  15. The following are photos from Millie in 2017. The 1st photo is from 6132 sky suite looking forward The others are from about 6122 sky suite. The video moves aft. You can see the large deck of 6132 at the end. Never be in the mid ship suites. Millie and Summit are both the same class of ships. VID_20180327_083201420.mp4
  16. The site shown is my go to for research. I want to say for 20 plus years. Never booked with them. I have a great TA that has helped us over the 20 plus years.
  17. Also now 2 bottles of wine per person on embarkation day. It was 2 bottles per cabin.
  18. I did look at Oceania online. The next day I got a phone call from Oceania. They must have called my IP Address. Penthouse Suites are under the pool and or the buffet. On the S Class ship. I was in 2133 sky suite and could hear what sounded like a conveyor belt during the night/early morning. I do like the M Class as most suites are on deck 6.
  19. I'm not fond of pork and beans. I wont eat pork CHEEKS. I would if it was called Braised pork.
  20. Yes, you are talking about me. I really dont think of myself as a picky eater. When it comes to meat it is mostly beef, chicken or pork. In general I wont eat lamb, duck, goat, quail, pheasant, horse, deer or veal. Mostly because they are cute. Squab. I new it was pigeon, but did not know it is a young pigeon. Got to put that in with veal. When it comes to fish I do like Pacific salmon. I will eat shrimp, raw or cooked oysters, crab, clams, escargot, octopus, lobster, pickled herring. I do like Luminae's menu over Blu's. I will eat what is served to me at some ones house or business trip at corporate event. In China I had turtle soup. In Saudi Arabia I was invited to a goat grab. I have been disappointed in the Oceanview Café Indian food at lunch as Celebrity seems to be pushing fish dishes. What happened to the Indian food with chicken.
  21. This is or was the library on the Edge March 2019.
  22. Since the restart we have done 4 cruises. 3 of them have been Alaska cruises. 2 were on Millie and 1 on Solstice. I'm currently looking to book an Alaska cruise for Sept 2024. We have done 1 cruise on the Edge in a sky suite. The Summit would be very nice, but adding airfare to Anchorage and transfer to Seward. I decided to pass on the Summit. The Edge out of Seattle would be the simplest for us. We are 30 mins from the cruise terminal. Solstice out of Canada Place is about a 3 hour drive from Seattle. In my eyes Solstice has the better itinerary. I like Hubbard Glacier, Icy Strait Point and glassblowing. So I looked at the cost for a celebrity suite. Well, I was thinking about giving the Edge another chance, but the cost difference means we will pick Solstice out of Vancouver. Solstice will cost less and has the better itinerary. Sailing on the Edge in a CS will cost $3900 more then sailing on Solstice. Photos are of Hubbard Glacier.
  23. In the past when we went to Broadway trivia. My DH would know most of the answers. We used to get luggage tags, tote bags, neck lanyards for your seapass card. This was years ago before smart phone and wifi.
