    The Grand Bar is like an after thought stuck in the hallway. Not like the lounge on the R ships in the GDR.

    Yes I see but that was before Covid-19 ended so it should be faster. Like in 2019

    But according to the email I received last week all Covid-19 ends today according to Oceania

    Last cruise n O 2019 out of Miami, got there at around 10 am walked up to the desk got right on no waiting did not ask my cabin category Maybe cause Covid-19 testing it took longer.

    The first half of the cruise you might have some trouble booking the Miami to Venice for the time and restaurants you want. But the Venice to Rome section will be easier because those guests can't book till 30 days later..

    Here's a thought. Whet if you booked your cruise when Oceania policy was you needed proof of Covid-19 vaccinated Can u cancel your cruise because of the new no vaccine requirement?

    Jacque Pepin was executive chef of Howard Johnson's so maybe he will assist with the menu for the American fast food diner

    Our first cruise on O 2004 the policy was stated to us no tipping please. A gratuity will be added to your bill end of cruise. I've been in the restaurant industry in NY for a long time and when I offered a gratuity to the Madre d they refused to accept them.

    Is O still issuing the Blue Bag for concierge and above?

    We did Myanmar with O back in 2018. If they do go there we highly recommend the overnight in Bagan if it's still offered.

    We like the MDR on the R ships because bar and lounge are near the entrance. Get there around 7:15 request a table for 2 along the widows. We give our name and then order a bottle of wine in the lounge chat with others and when table available we go to dine and the wine bottle follows LOL
