  2. we 'always' stop by Pancho's Backyard ... my wife parks me there at an outside table with shade. I'll have a couple of 'fishbowl' "local beers" (XX) - that I may have in the fridge at home😉 and she will continue / finish browsing the shops, then meet me for a 'fishbowl' mojito and maybe some apps, maybe not. she did have her feet nibbled there once.

  4. I got a new CVP, talked and emailed to him, got my old fare reinstated (did not get the website price in error) and did get a nice OBC for our troubles. All good, will keep monitoring prices as lots of cabins being shown as available. CVP did state to put cabin on hold, if needed, then contact him. First time I've ever been told that is the proper way for the CVP to get 'credit' for the booking.
  5. we were on the 2nd 3 day. made it to PC on that one. Missed Crooners, and Take 5 just didn't do 'it' for us. Spent more time in Vines as I remember
  6. I "read somewhere" - maybe here on CC, that the language 'credit can not be used in casino' might actually start being enforced. will 'excursion credit' follow - NO EXCURSION, NO EXCURSION CRUISE CREDIT FOR YOU 🤑😈

  8. for all Princess ships - start with Vines, Crooners, and Alfredo's/Gigi's - and keep an aft adult pool and bar as on Grand Class ships. and add a 24 hour Waffle House...
  9. update - got a call from a manager in CVP operations - all good, again - price back to what it was pre 'adjustment' by the CHAT line person.
  10. same for us - wouldn't even mind if it was a little 3-4-5 day to Princess Cay. This would definitely be about the ship.
  11. wow, that hurts ... she missed out on the credit for the $1 deposit I put down. Won't let that happen again ... as I won't be dealing with her.
  12. she can't honor the new website price... and the website for this cruise gets to selecting the cabin, then states 'something went wrong, call ...'
  13. I 'seem' to have a person on now that knows 'maybe' what they are doing - at least I can understand her. She 'escalated' my concerns and stated the Princess website prices have been screwed up all day and not to honor them for new bookings or refares. Again - this person was super nice, just not able to do anything from her end.
  14. 53 minutes on hold - now talking with a Princess 'rep' - put back on hold while he 'checks'
  15. 44 minutes and counting on hold - 'sailing is so refreshing' tumbler getting a workout .. 😉
  16. and yet, we we boarded the CB and went directly to try to book Ultimate Balcony - not available - ok, how about Crown - all booked for cruise - Sabatini's? - first night only this was onboard - not pre-cruise
  17. and of course the "chat" person screwed up my reservation ... and disconnected before I could print the chat it will all work out - it's a game now to me ... $1 deposit on a cruise that looks to be less than 25% full - at least to the deck plans when booking 'plan a cruise'
  18. I've had no problems with this CVP in the past - no real help, but nothing like this - 'she' evened answered a couple of questions concerning this exact cruise a few days ago - no help, but at least answered my questions

  21. I booked a $1 deposit on a weekend when my CVP was not available. Got this email today when inquiring about a price drop and upgrading from PLUS to PREMIER. I would not be able to help you today since I have appointments all day with guests that wishes book cruises with me. Please call 800 774 6237 and speak to a representative since you booked this online. Have a great day.
