we took an upsell to R411 - S4 - back in 2019 - It was under the ice cream station. yes, lots of chair noise, but only during the day, which we were rarely in the cabin during those times

what do you do by your pool, then? - broken glass in a pool is not an option at our house either

Princess Cruises introduces all-inclusive Premier Package
voljeep replied to dides's topic in Princess Cruises
as long as Princess 'keeps available and doesn't run out' of a couple of semi-decent cabs, a chard, a couple of single malt scotches, and a Dunes martini, current beers, and 'fruity drinks' ... well, we can live and enjoy that - even at the soon to be 'extra' $10 pp pd. I "might" consider the $25 'upcharge' to the premier on a 4 day cruise, just to "experience the thrill" ... and the specialty dinner(s) - but they better come with a 'guaranteed' availability. maybe the Premier Package upgrade could become a 'throw-in' for the super elitist level soon to come. Sorta like getting the platinum insurance upgrade at the regular price. nah ... -
OK we just did our first cruise and here is my lesson learned

my wife learned a lesson about the auto-tip/gratuity for spa services - she caught it in time, and her additional tip was removed. Never had that repeated, and never went back to the spa, either - too much talking and 'hard sell of products' for her to enjoy the treatment... -

is the "fuel surcharge" far behind now? - when was the last time that was enacted? -
I also enjoy 'playing the game' - not retired, but ... Has your TA refused, or not been able to refare a price drop, even after final payment? I fully understand, believe me, about promotion changes, perks, and "new bookings only"

it was in response to Ombuds reducing it to 10 drinks - I'll do the 10, but only at the $50 price point - which I am fully aware that is not an option ... at this time -

Premier is a definite NO-GO for us ... Plus is prolly still a go, for now hopefully P+ retains that you just pay any additional +18% over the $12 limit -

$10 pp pd increase in P+ to $50 per person per day - back out grats - $15 and that gets you to $35 pp per day (neglecting)the mostly now worthless wifi - for drinks up to $12, and yeah, watch those 10-11-12 dollar drinks become 13-14-15 -
We found a duck by the aft pool on the SKY V2.0 USA "inaugural". we kept it. I also got duck duck Jeeped by a little girl at the Post Office. She went away yelling Mommy, Mommy I ducked that Jeep!! She was happy, that's all that matters. It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.

Discuss Implementation of Smoking Policy
voljeep replied to CC Help Michell's topic in Princess Cruises
how has that worked out so far for you on the cruises you have been on since the re-start? -
it's not a "Princess thingy" - It's a "Duck thingy" duck duck Jeep ... among others

the telling point will be when Princess starts raising the price of P+ from the current ( most of the time) $40 per person per day. If you are a drinker, how much would you be willing to pay? remember the "old drink package" was $70 per day ( but both in a cabin did NOT have to buy it, wink, wink) If you consider the wifi semi worthless - P+ is $25 pp per day, currently what's your limit? posters that don't drink - or have large OBC - need not reply - those answers are worthless to this
