  1. Yes because Cunard never sell QG/PG at Early Saver Fare because they are very popular and always sell at Cunard Fare. All other grades are available at Early Saver.

  3. It is because the fares showing on Cunard's website are Early Saver Fares and are cheaper because you don't choose your cabin or have a choice of OBC, free parking or coach travel. You also don't choose your dining time so that is why they are cheaper, the ones you have seen on. TA website if dearer will be Cunard Fare where you can choose all above and that is why they are dearer.
  4. Mine have not yet taken a deposit just said will ring on Tuesday and if booked a cabin of my request they will take deposit then.
  5. If cancellation is because a member of party is only worried about COVID risk then you will lose all monies paid and you would not get a FCC and I don't think any insurance would pay out just because you are worried about catching COVID and not actually got it.
  6. We recently cruised on QV in PG and at our stop in Lisbon it was pouring with rain and there wasn't an umbrella on our suite and they weren't handing them out when we got off the ship.
  7. If you pre reg direct with Cunard they don't tell you the price of the cruise after discounts on full Cunard Fare until it goes on sale. Also you cannot give any choices of cabin requests you just tell them cabin grade and they pick cabin within that grade. I rang yesterday and that is what I was told. I rang a well known cruise TA and they told price of cruise with past passenger discount and they gave extra discount on top. I also gave them 6 cabin choices within grade I want to book. If you pre reg direct it will be dearer with Cunard and you will not be able to pick cabin.

  11. No don't think they supply umbrellas in any cabin/suite.
  12. Well seeing that as you have previously said always booking a Q1/Q2 you are losing a lot of money because 5% of Q1/Q2 suite is a considerable amount of money and no service from a TA is worth that much.
  13. I can only find one TA offering 5% and there is no way would I book with them after past experience with them and their awful reputation during pandemic.
  14. Is that 10% inclusive of 5% Cunard past passenger so TA giving 5% or is it 10% from TA on top of 5% past passenger discount.
  15. If you are purchasing alcohol from Gibraltar with the intention of bringing it into the UK then the limit is 4litres of spirits. People make the mistake of thinking there is no limit and I can assure you, with experience, that there is limits.
  16. There were rooms on the ship where you were not allowed if you were not part of the Literature Festival.

  18. Nobody is saying what their profit margin should be just that many are comparing P&O prices to pub prices in the UK. All pubs pay alcohol duty and VAT where P&O dont so there profit is a lot higher.
  19. It will be very similar as The Limelight Club on P&O which is on some of their ships. You pay to see the cabaret and then when they have finished is open to anyone.

  21. Totally different atmosphere when we did Literary Festival NY-Sou on roundtrip TA. The atmosphere was totally different compared to first week they walked around with their literary festival lanyards on and thought they had priority over everybody else and looked down their noses ast you as if you shouldnt be on the cruise. Many who didnt know it was a Literary Festival, or it had not been announced, when booking which included us complained to reception and many I spoke to said it had been the worst TA they had done and they couldnt wait to get off.
  22. Very hard as Tablelamp has previously stated does not have mobile phone so cannot request a paper copy from the app would have to phone to request one.
  23. When we were inadvertently on Literature Festival as the second week of roundtrip TA the second week was a totally different experience. The Planetarium was closed and room was used every day as part of festival. There were many complaints from people who had booked the cruise prior to it being announced as literature festival. The main complaint was some experiences were not available unless you had booked as part of festival and all there was to do is sit in bars drinking coffee.
