  1. But you would have the same issue if the roads out of the docks and along main road were gridlocked even if you used P4C.

    Coffee

But the Op is asking about QV not QM2.

    Coffee

To my knowledge there is nowhere else to get free coffee apart from Lido everywhere else it is payable.
  4. Forgive my ignorance but down nearly 14% today and if my memory serves me right you have recently said that you expect Carnival shares to drop to around £4 by January - quote "Are we at the bottom? I think that may wait for January depending largely on oil prices. I think we -could hit £4 before we see the turn. My end of 2023 target is £10ps".
  5. Taken on more debt is not a good sign and will spook the markets that is why the shares have dropped like a stone.
  6. Our boarding pass had a time of 1215 and we arrived handed our car over and then deposited our suitcases at appropriate "hole in the wall" and then had to queue as nobody was allowed into terminal at about 12pm. Never experienced having to queue outside terminal before. We were then allowed to enter after only a short wait and then after check in was directed to PG seating area. There was a delay in boarding and QG started boarding at 1245 and we started boarding at 1300.
  7. There was no card to order fresh fruit in PG on QV last week. We were told by cabin steward at start of our cruise that we could order fresh fruit bowl just to ring Room Service.
  8. Well we are on QV currently in Princess Grill and haven't seen any member of staff in there not wearing a mask. Also every time we go into restaurant for every meal the head waiter makes sure that you use hand gel. With regards to the fire there has been an acrid smell around stairwell B on deck 5. Also on morning of fire we had no water in suite as it was isolated and redirected in case of need for water to fight the fire. Having been a member of the fire service as a firefighter for 33 years well know that electrical fires do give acrid smell for some time afterwards even if not very serious which we hope this wasnt.
  9. If you are lucky might do many things. If you are unlucky like we were in a Q6 on QE we hardly saw him. If we weren't in the suite when delivering canapes he would leave the on the side and if we were in suite he would bring them in and just put them on table and leave. We didn't see him for 2-3hrs when we boarded so no chance of unpacking suitcase even if we wanted. Other than that we never saw him for whole cruise.
  10. We are currently on a 2yr fixed deal with Octopus which expires in May next year. We are currently paying £76-35 a month for gas/electricity and are over £350 on credit. Think we are in for a shock next May when it expires.
  11. If they were going to release rest of 2024 by the time we disembark on 11th Nov they would have announced pre registration dates by now.
  12. If you would prefer elsewhere then you should have booked a Select fare. You obviously booked a Saver fare because it was cheaper the consequence of that is you have no choice of cabin and you risk the gamble of having a poor cabin.
  13. I meant that had cancelled completely some cruises not their whole fleet. You are looking too deep and for something that isn't there or intended. Perhaps it was a wrong choice of words but never intended to mean that FO had cancelled all their cruises for whole of December and clarified that in post #6.
  14. I never said all of December cruises had been cancelled I said four had been cancelled and never mentioned which ships.
  15. No it was announced in August by Fred Olsen that they were cancelling four cruises in December due to poor sales and high fuel prices.
  16. Not P&O but recently I think Fred Olsen cancelled cruises completely for December due to poor sales.
  17. Let us all be honest P&O are well known, and have been for many years, for there "sharp" business practices so nobody should be really surprised. P&O always expect the customer to be loyal to them but do not return and often treat their customers with contempt. I am afraid when booking a cruise with P&O the phrase "buyer beware" should be firmly in everyone's mind but fortunately for P&O people however poorly treated by them still carry on cruising with them and shout out there praises.
  18. Might be worth contacting Cunard either on their Faceache page or Twitter. I have always had a response from Cunard but not always the response I was expecting.
  19. That is fair enough I certainly wouldnt be ignorant with polite chat but it is laughable those that race to dance floor and push their way into standing by senior officers.
  20. We have received nothing at all so just shows how P&O treat loyal customers, with total contempt. Not really a regular cruiser with them only been cruising with them since 2000 and done nearly 40 cruises and have 4 more booked. To be honest equally disgusted with Cunard and feel it is obviously an attitude problem for all Carnival ships so think it is time for a change away from any Carnival company.
  21. We were hoping they would release them before we got off QV in mid-November but isnt going to happen so looking elsewhere for 2024.
  22. Who cares whether they come back certainly not me. The ones I have been always serve cheap wine and find it hilarious watching some cruisers sucking up to officers.
  23. When did you last go on a Cunard cruise, you cannot get many cocktails under $12.
  24. I think as reported on travelweekly and previously stated by me in an earlier post if Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund are interested then don't think money and affordability is a problem and possibly a good value purchase price. Also it seems that higher priced luxury cruise lines have held up very well in current difficult times. Also as reported by molecrochip Seabourn is the only luxury cruise line in Carnival's portfolio so would be sensible to sell and stick with mass market cruise lines.
  25. P&O drinks package is not the worst offering of any cruise line have you seen Cunard's. A lot dearer to purchase at $69pppd with almost exactly T&Cs as P&O and yet the drinks on Cunard are much more expensive so limited choice within the $12 limit.
