We had every intention to book QA Maiden but changed our minds when I found out it was only 7nts with 1 port of call.

They have under ABTA rules to respond to your complaint in 28 days so there is time yet.

So to tip all of that on top of the fact that you have already paid Crew Appreciation is way over the top for a 14 nt cruise on top of paying Princess Plus package you are paying best part of $500 extra in tips. I pay Princess Plus package or if in the past before Princess Plus was available I usually removed auto tips and then decide what tips to give depending on service and not to be told what to tip by Princess.

Definitely over the top.

Most, if not all Select Fare cruises come with the option of free coach, onboard credit or free parking. It is easily changeable after initial booking either with TA or if booked direct with P&O. There is no right one to have because everyone has different circumstances but you have to weigh up how much OBC you get or is it better value to have the car parking. Remember if booking and paying with CPS and keeping option of onboard credit CPS is very expensive, take into consideration of keeping OBC and booking with alternative parking company who are virtually the same as CPS i.e.Parking4Cruises who are generally, especially on long cruises, a lot cheaper than CPS.

We were hoping to use Dam Health in Newcastle but get different answers from website, phoning head office and message to them on Facebook. Website says it is a throat swab, head office say depends on clinic whether throat or nasal and Facebook say nasal. With regards the result one says definitely need to download App other says prefer App but can text/e-mail result.

I know it will be a while before dividends are being paid again but obviously while in the process of changing bank accounts want to get everything in order as soon as new bank account opened.

I have shares with Carnival purchased in 2011 and have a share certificate and no account with a stockbroker. My dividends automatically get paid into my bank account and I am currently in the process of changing my bank account anyone have any idea of who to contact to change my bank account details so when dividends are being paid in the future they go to correct account.

But as long as ABTA bonded your money is safe and all that would happen is the cruise line would tske over the booking as I and many others will know with the collapse of Gill's.

I can just imagine the cabin steward returning to his suite 😀 after a hard days work struggling to open his door with the pile of Mac Nut chocolates, sweets and fridge magnets. Cash is king.

I along with many others, except for the ones that will not have a bad word said against Cunard whatever they do, are absolutely shocked at what is happening at Cunard. I think it is total nonsense to keep on blaming Covid for the reason as Customer Service and the infamous website have been very poor for a long time way before pandemic hit the world. I honestly believe that senior management arrogantly believe that people will continue to be loyal to Cunard however they are treated but I think they are in for one hell of a shock.

The cruise I was referring to was the Cheltenham Literary Festival and was in coordination and group booking through The Times. There was many complaints from those on roundtrip TA. Cunard havent learned and money obviously sways because they have done it again and is done on annual basis.

You used to be able to book speciality dining prior to your cruise and use your onboard cruise credit if you had any. This changed pre pandemic and if you booked in advance it was charged to your payment method and OBC could not be used.

No Cunard shouldnt allow large groups private bookings and the ship should be available to everyone on the cruise at all times. Having done a roundtrip TA where the Literary Festival was on the return trip to Southampton on QM2 it was the worst TAs we have done. Unfortunately we didnt know it was a Literary Festival when we booked as it wasnt announced until some time after. Parts of the ship were not available if you had not booked as part of the Festival and many normal availability i.e. Planetarium was cancelled for whole of TA so they could have talks in there. Those booked as part of the Literary Festival walked around with their printed bags and lanyards looking down on anyone that wasnt part of Festival. I was glad to get off in Southampton the whole atmosphere changed at the end of the first week to New York when it was excellent to an awful crossing home.

We have had 100 shares for many years and 2-3 cruises a year we have made a fortune in obc and dividends even now they are languishing in price to what they were pre pandemic.

Sorry might upset many but booking the Princess Plus package which includes Crew Appreciation I do not tip any extra.

We had a similar balcony on QE but towards the front of the ship and yes the balcony is much larger but like previously said if you like privacy then they are overlooked but honestly didnt bother us. We didnt do anything on the balcony untowards so let them look if they want too.

Yes spent 30 yrs working at the fire station down the road and visited there on a regular basis. Unfortunately a sign of the times and everyone deserves their retirement. Dont visit Stoke-on-Trent so very hard to get decent oatcakes in Stone except those horrible cardboard ones they sell in the supermarkets.

They were the best.

That has made me feel hungry will have to and look in the fridge see if we have some cheese and bacon 😋

Anyone booked a cruise recently and had their Blue Light Card accepted and given extra obc. Cannot find P&O on Blue Light website so I am guessing they have stopped accepting it.
