  1. French, Italian and Stateside were excellent in December on Onward.
  2. This is where it was on December 12.
  3. We always try for an N2 portside aft of the aft elevator and have never had an issue.
  4. We were told this, as well, and were pleased to hear it.
  5. Should work fine except where Starlink does not yet have coverage.
  6. The check you are given in specialty restaurants says that a tip is included in the restaurant's charge.
  7. Sounds to me it's the same policy as pre-Covid. Cruise with Confidence reflected the uncertainties presented by Covid. At some point things go back too the way they were.
  8. Because a tip is already included in the price of the dinner.
  9. 24 days on Onward in December and January. Plenty to like; no dislikes. Don't recall seeing anything about the Onward guest relations staff being "pitiful."
  10. Had experience with booking specialties online with Regent, Oceania's big sister and supposed "six-star luxury" line. Did not like that approach st all. Opened at midnight Central time for us, but penthouse and above had first crack days earlier, a policy I really dislike. You were allowed one reservation in each specialty. Few openings were left. On our second Regent cruise, they borrowed the hotel and cruise directors from Oceania, both unimpressive and not very visible. The CD would walk past you like you weren't there. I suppose some prefer it that way.
  11. We like Gordon's, too. No nonsense, classic gin. Schweppes, too. No nonsense, classic tonic.
  12. If you're saying there's beef tenderloin in Prime C and beef tenderloin on a Chef's Table menu, that's true. If you're saying there's similarity in the preparation of the dishes, I really have to disagree.
  13. Have seen no relation between Chef's Table menus and the specialty restaurant offerings. Very puzzling assertion.
  14. Sorrento is a tender port.Difficult to take 600+ people from and to the ship.
  15. We did on 12/22 in Miami. Took a few minutes. Did it as a group.
  16. My reaction to the expanded Pride, as well. Public rooms are crowded when more than 250 passengers are onboard. Seating in Veranda can be hard to get at breakfast and lunch.
  17. I'll never understand how someone can hear of one person's unfortunate incident and based on that decide they'll never choose that cruise line or hotel or resort or whatever.
  18. Don't have to climb into and out of a tub in order to shower. Tub base is three or four inches above bathroom floor making it awkward to step out, and reduces headroom in the shower for anyone six feet or more. Lastly, we shower, not bathe, so tub is unnecessary.
  19. N2 aft CCs on port side have showers and minimal noise from above. Have spent hundreds of nights there on Azamara ships.
  20. Never seen it done except for maintenance of the veranda.
  21. Look at the deck plan. CC suites with triangles have tubs.
