Have a great cruise! The bartenders in Schooner were great a week ago. Enjoyed the piano guy, too. It was my go to place as it was pretty quiet and you could actually get a seat. We were at capacity - so many kids (including my grandkids) as it was a family cruise too.

PS - A new Cats cast is starting this week on Oasis, if you are a Cats fan. I'm not.

I also got off Oasis yesterday (Friday July 28), and did self assist. The ship was delayed docking due to marine traffic. I believe we were waiting for a container ship or barge before we were given the OK to dock. Thus, instead of docking at 6 AM as scheduled, we docked at 7 AM. I waited until 7:40 AM to leave my cabin for self assist and they snaked us through lines. I was finally outside the terminal at 8:26 AM calling a friend who was waiting at the port to pick me up. It was a mess. Those with luggage tags were delayed an hour or so also. I've encountered this before at Cape Liberty. However, I also have had it go very smoothly and on time debarkation. It all depends. This past May on Celebrity it went fine, as did last December on Anthem.

Just off Oasis today - and that is correct. We had the Cats performers sing and some of the other ship's bands played in there. I REALLY miss the Cover Bands.

Love those aft cabins on the M-class. I was on deck 7 for my Summit cruise in May. Enjoy! Be careful I got a wicked sunburn sitting on my deck while we were docked in Bermuda - I didn't think the sun was that hot in May!

@DeerJod I remember from reading your thread that you said you had connecting cabins. Did they provide you with those rubber door stops so you can prop the connecting doors open? I'll be on Oasis soon with the family and grandkids.

I did the Effy charm necklace on Summit last month. There was a card which listed what charm you got, the day and time to pick it up, It was fun going into the store for just the charms. Of course, they try to sell you jewelry. See if you can pick up the card that lists the charms and day. Mine was actually in the cabin with the locket, but they had them in the Effy store as well.

Having stayed in one of the aft cabins on APEX, I love your description including all the humor!

They last day of school before Winter/Christmas Break is Friday, Dec 22, 2023 for most public schools in NJ this year, including my district, the district my daughter teaches at and the district my grandkids go to. Since I have quite a few friends in eastern PA, I believe they are on the same break schedule for Christmas as well. So, I'm going to agree that there will not be a ton of kids unless they are traveling from different areas or attend local private schools that get out earlier. Definitely less than Christmas week.

Just check out the deck plans of the various ships and you will find out. That's what I do.

Glad you brought it to the attention of the Hotel Manager.

Mine does not show up. I was also told onboard by the future cruise consultant, that it will not show up in your account. If I try to add it, it says it is already linked to my account, even though it does not show up under Future Cruises. Perhaps something recently changed, who knows.

It is my understanding that they will not show up in your Celebrity Account until you actually book a cruise. Then the reservation shows up. I have a Future Cruise certificate booked onboard and it also does not show up.

Please post your photos! It's the best way to get the word out and make Celebrity take a good look. I hope you mentioned this onboard and also you should email Celebrity with the photos as well. I have been on Eclipse and was considering a Bermuda family cruise in 2024, but your post give me pause. But, I'd really like to see cabin pics to back up what your wrote.

I was also on the May 15 Summit cruise. I seem to remember several announcements by the Captain about gastrointestinal illness from about day 3 or 4 till the end of the cruise. The captain gave updates each day.

Go to the app on your phone. The menus for your cruise should be listed under dining. I'm also on Oasis in July and the MDR menus are all listed for each day.

I'll be doing an Oasis family cruise in July, so please post flyers from the Kids Club. I'll be bringing my grandsons ages 5 & 7 on their first cruise, so their parents are really interested in the kids club info. Enjoy!
