We haven't cruised since Covid cancel 3 of our cruises. Is there still self serve ice cream? If so, do they still have strawberry yogurt? We cruise the Magic this May.
Yeah, its been a minute since they've done this. I don't remember it as actually booking a cruise. I recall purchasing a $$ certificate to be applied to your next cruise. I wish they would bring it back.
We cruised the end of October a few ago. Bohemian Rhapsody was to be shown on the big screen one might. I was so excited because I hadn't seen it yet. But it was during the World Series so that is what was on the screen. They were also playing the WS on all the TVs in the Red Frog Pub. I was so disappointed. They showed the WS every night.
I really don't get why this is such a big deal. Everyone knows bringing pot and drugs on board is forbidden. But people don't want to follow the rules. I can't tell you how many times I have been pulled out at the airport for additional searches. (I have a 'cage' in my spine and metal detectors go off every time.) Inconvenient and a little embarrassing, but I get it.
I think that's what I was saying. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes. A lot of moving parts have to be coordinated. I'm from the corporate world, I get it.
Why would they wait just for the heck of it? I'm sure there are things going on behind the scenes that the great unwashed have no access to. It would only be to Carnival's benefit to make the decision/announcement ASAP.
We love taking the sky lift to the top of the mountain. It's walkable from the pier. The view is truly breath taking. There's a gift shop and restaurant and bar up there. Get the Bushwacker.
I haven't sailed out of Jax since the OG Celebration sailed from there. I like that port, I also, would love to see Spirit ships sail from there. Charleston and Jacksonville are about the same distance from us.
We were booked on the Vista in a balcony and was offered an upgrade to a spa balcony. We jumped on it, but ended up canceling the whole cruise and rebooked the Magic in a spa balcony. I know it wasn't a suite upgrade, but it thrilled us.
I heard something happened to the Magic in Grand Turk yesterday. Some kind of emission from the ship. It was several hours late leaving. Does anyone know what happened?
I known what you mean. The more we cruise, the less we eat in the MDR and we haven't cruised as much as you! It's just become more of a hassel and so simple to go to the buffet. We're cruising with my son and his family this May. They are newbies and keep talking about the MDR. I guess we'll be eating there more this cruise.
