  1. That's a good question...I'll try to get menus from both sides...then I'll post them.
  2. NY strip, what NY strip? * Always had the filet...cooked to perfection.
  3. YES! * That is actually part of our daily walks.. around Deck 4, up the stairs, walk by the helipad, down the stairs, all the way around the aft, and back again.
  4. CWO: We've been fortunate to have shared tables with fun and great people. * I enjoy the wine, the filet, and a nice nap after lunch.
  5. Try to be outside during sail-in to Cabo...Deck 4 port side is a good spot. You'll see magnificent views of Los Arcos. * Most passengers are inside waiting for tender tickets.
  6. Yup, Topnole you are spot on. * When eating at CK, we've had our waiter NOT charge our vouchers for drinks...tipping well may have something to do with it.
  7. Congratulations! * It's a wonderful addiction.
  8. I love both Barcelona and Rome. Almost 40 years ago, I backpacked all over Europe...and every time I make it back to Rome...it is always magical and surreal. If an easier embarkation port is a high priority..., yes, Barcelona airport is only about 30 minutes. Rome to Civitavecchia is at least 1 hour. IMHO, starting in Rome is better and is what I would recommend. Spend a week, a few days in Rome...visit St. Peter's Basilica, walk towards the Tiber River, cross the river by Castel D'Angelo, walk to Piazza Navona, then to the Pantheon, then to the Trevi Fountain...the Colosseum, ancient forum, the Spanish Steps. So much more. With Barcelona being a port stop, you'll be close to the city and see many of the sights...Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, walk up and down Las Ramblas...and of course everything Gaudi.
  9. Agree! We were on the bus in Bermyda when school children, dressed in wonderful uniforns, joined us...fond memories.
  10. "The genie is the second most powerful crew member on the ship...the genie is there to literally "make your wish come true". * Said so by a Captain.
  11. Sooooo true! I'm laughing because we send in 1 bag...and get 2 bags back!
  12. Congratulations! For the 2nd and 3rd leg, you'll now have 1 free "Wash and Fold" bag per person. * We've never had problems with the "Wash and Fold"...but some have reported shrinkage, discoloration, and damage to items. Just be careful of what you put in the bag.
  13. Yes, it's a lot of fun and lots of sushi to eat afterwards. The class will make you appreciate how much work goes into making a simple sushi roll. Ultimately, it's your decision. Happy sailing.
  14. Back in the day when we had the "Midnight Buffet"...doors would actually open at 11:30 pm so people can take pictures of the food. * The food arrangements/display looked better BEFORE being eaten. * IMHO...it was nice, but so much food went to waste.
  15. Yes, you can make it. * Just have a Plan B.
  16. How many Celebrity cruises have you taken? If you're Elite on Celebrity...it translates to Diamond on RCCL. Happy sailing!
  17. If you travel to Vietnam, that 1K in U.S. dollars today would be: $23,525,500 Vietnamese Dong...you'll be a millionaire. * My attempt at humor.
  18. Tip: If you happen to be walking by the Northstar and/or the IFly, you could ask if there are "no shows" or cancellations. (We've been lucky a few times.)
  19. Agree...the ride is not "all that" but we have only done the free rides. Perhaps someone who paid will chime in. It's one of those things you try just to say you've done it. It's unique but save your money and book the free rides. * Now the IFly...this is fun...always the highlight of our cruise.
  20. It took us approximately 30 minutes from ship to shore. * Navigator anchored off Catalina...taken from up the hill by the bell tower.
  21. Agree...we plan on getting the visas before we leave.
  22. E-visa for U.S. citizens...is this correct? Thank you. * We've visited Vietnam on RCCL and Princess ships in the past and visas were obtained while onboard. * See you on the Spectrum.
