  1. Thank you @Cruising-along. Your Moorea pictures are gorgeous!! ~Nancy
  2. Thanks for sharing! I got the link from them too. Haven't watched it yet. I was just reading about the Aurora that may be visible in the northern US tonight. My Minnesota relatives can hopefully see it. I live too far south unfortunately. ~Nancy
  3. If you mean the Port Everglades cruise terminal, there are taxis waiting right outside the door and the Uber/Lyft pickup area is right next to that. The Port Everglades cruise terminal to FLL airport is only about 4 miles and should be around $20-25. I paid $55 to go all the way to MIA by Lyft in November 2022 and that is about 30 miles. If you mean Miami Cruise terminal than the price quoted by @cantgetin makes sense. Have fun! ~Nancy
  4. Exactly. As @CruiserBruce recommended, keep monitoring! My upcoming May cruise had a few excursions listed as soon as I booked it a year ago. Some sold out quickly. Over time new tours have been added and the sold-out tours have added more capacity. It's an evolving list! ~Nancy
  5. I sure hope your AC is fixed by now! How was the day in Lima? ~Nancy
  6. Have It All Premium Cruise Package | Holland America Line
  7. You will need to pay the daily gratuities for each teen. ~Nancy
  8. Rich, did you get off the ship in Moorea? If so, what did you do? I'll be there next year so am curious to find out interesting things to do. ~Nancy
  9. More daylight hours in May, June and July. (June 21st is the solstice)
  10. @Joe&Barry Ugh! Please let us know when they finally fixed it. If it wasn't soon, hopefully there was a vacant cabin you could at least go sleep in. ~Nancy
  11. @BermudaBound2014 Thank you so much for your well written and fun trip report! I've stayed at the Manchester Hyatt twice and loved the views of the bay and city. Great late sail away pictures! I'm guessing you will be able to sleep very well tonight after a crazy day and the wee bit of wine!! 😉 ~Nancy
  12. That sounds very nice! Would you mind sharing the contact info/website for this cottage? I had my plans changed due to the Windstar cancellations so now will be going in April 2025. Have a wonderful trip! Thanks, ~Nancy
  13. The Zuiderdam is on the World Cruise at the moment! Read the "Live From" posts to learn about the ship, activities and menus. Ocean Bar for background music in the evenings. Views from Crow's Nest and Seaview pool area. I love the Signature Suites!!!
  14. Welcome to Cruise Critic! The excursion is not run by HAL. Club Orange will get you priority tender to the excursion. That said, I really think you should be able to get a seat inside the excursion boat. Have fun! ~Nancy

  16. The Star Balcony Suites have the bed next to the balcony. If you want the seating by the balcony, as I prefer, then you need to book a BS Balcony Suite category. star-deck-plans-jan2024.pdf (windstarcruises.com) Have a great trip! ~Nancy
  17. I sometimes sail in a Signature Suite (on non-Pinnacle ships) as a solo. I will be pretty ticked off if that is no longer an option! My next two sailings are in veranda cabins so shouldn't be a problem. I've already been looking at smaller ships in general to avoid crowds and have booked on Windstar for 2025. It will be interesting to see how things play out. ~Nancy
  18. I love the "Spent more time on the balcony (enjoying a Margarita)" part of your day!! Sounds so relaxing! 🙂 ~Nancy
  19. I buy trip insurance that covers missed ports. ~Nancy
  20. @kathynorth I signed up for it too but couldn't watch in real time. I'll be watching for the email with the rerun link. I'm happy to hear you thought it was worthwhile to watch. ~Nancy
  21. Check this thread down the forum: Have a great trip! ~Nancy
