Best practice is to make reservations (in the phone app) as soon as you reserve your cruise ... then change the time, if you want, later.  Most people want the earlier time slots, and they do fill up.  If you arrive a bit early /a bit late for My Time reservations, they'll work with you ... but if you don't have reservations, you'll wait.

The cruise is at the end of June - is the app open to me now to use?

And a non-dining question please if you might know the answer - do I need to make reservations for shows / entertainment?  I haven't cruised with Royal since 2018 and on those ships reservations were not needed

  2. Sorry for asking a question that's probably been asked lots of times before... I've only had traditional dining with Royal Caribbean so far but for my forthcoming cruise on Anthem I have been allocated My Time Dining.  Do I need to make reservations before I sail or can I do it when I board or each day?  Any advice gratefully received.

    thanks,
    Sarah

Good morning everyone here is a message for anyone who comes under Stoke City Council. You can now register to have your garden waste collected all year round at a cost of £40. Not bad really when you look at other parts of the country.

The cost for fortnightly garden waste collection on the Isle of Wight is over £100 per year!

We are looking at this cruise for next year,  can I ask if you went to any of the speciality restaurants?

Arcadia is the only P&O ship that we haven't been on, good to hear that you enjoyed the ship and the cruise.

No, we didn't.  There are fewer speciality restaurants than other ships.  We met a couple who said the Ocean Grill was amazing, and their food pics looked fab.  There's a Sindhu and on sea days a pop-up Glass House in one of the bars

Have you any recommendations for the P and O excursions in Iceland? Thank you.

On day 1 in Reykjavik we did the introduction to Iceland tour, this was in the morning so in the afternoon we got the free shuttle bus into the city centre and wandered about.  On day 2 we did the golden circle tour - highly recommend this 8 hour trip.  In Isafjordur we did the best of tour - in these few hours we were shown so much of the local area it was great.   In Akureyri we went whale watching.

All of the tours were booked through P&O but I think other companies would offer something similar and possibly cheaper.  We wanted the security of booking through P&O
