  1. Celebrity and Royal Caribbean share the same terminals. Royal Caribbean's policy is still two bottles per stateroom. As you said, I agree this difference in policies is what leads to the confusion.
  2. I am not sure what you received that was a tiny shrimp on a cracker, unless it was an amouse-bouche which precedes the appetizers. All of the appetizers and main dishes I have found to be adequate portions and if it is something I have enjoyed in the past and would like more of, I simply ask the waiter for two servings on a single plate. This thread shows pictures of the dishes from Luminae that shows the portion size. I would not consider any of them 'tapas'.
  3. We normally take a quantity of $1.00, $5.00, and $10.00 bills specifically for tips. Since I do gamble, I normally will ask for some amount in small bills when I cash out at the casino. I find slot machines a lot easier to have a payout that will include $1.00 bills.
  4. Here is the link -- https://dlxffu6hwewxp.cloudfront.net/cas/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/18063159_CAS_MemberBonus_Amenity_List_v3.pdf
  5. @shof515Sorry, I was responding to the original text in the message, vs the edited text. Our messages must have crossed in the either. I only have one cruise scheduled and it is in February. The drink package has been in the cruise planner page since we booked in September. Our last sailing was on Quantum of the seas and the cruise planner was showing the drink package at least 18 months prior as I recall. @bgoff60 Are you looking in the app, the web page, or both?
  6. Thank you for your comments. We are sailing the same itinerary on Harmony in February.
  7. @bgoff60 I fail to see any connection between the topic and the text you wrote. What question(s) are you trying to get answered?
  8. I understand that. What I was asking was whether the $40.00 in the planner that is described as wash, dry, and fold was the same as the free Elite bag of 30 items. Our next cruise is 15 days and if I can send dress slacks and dress shirts as part of that $40.00 option, that would work very well for us.
  9. I have no reason other than with Lyft/Uber my creit card is automatically charged and on occasion I have had taxi's decline to accept credit cards.
  10. This deal looks like the same wash and fold that Elite receive for free. Does anyone know if it is different than that or not?
  11. Apex 6200 is an Infinate Veranda -- not a real balcony. The view 'down' is somewhat blocked as shown in the photo below.
  12. One of the things we like about Luminae is the portion size. We prefer the smaller size.
  13. There was no Zacapa to be found, even at the World Class Bar, on Silhouette in March / April. I am hoping that the situation gets rectified for our Millennium cruise in April.
  14. Long Island Ice Tea or a Zacapa Old Fashioned.
  15. Thanks. I had no idea. Then again it's been more than a couple of years since we sailed out of Tampa. It's just surprising with the sophistication of the navigational equipment that fog would be that much of an issue but I am glad it's safety first.
  16. I can only imagine all the issues this is going to cause with departing passengers flights. This is the first time I can recall reading about this issue. I wonder if it is unique to Tampa?
  17. Trust me, we close the fire doors behind us going and coming. Also, it is usually less than a minute that we are inside the room. In and out very quickly. I would like to point out that our cabin is almost always close to an elevator when we sail on RCL. Being encouraged to go to the room, drop things off, and pick up our cards on Celebrity is one of the reasons we enjoy Celebrity. Our next cruise is on Harmony and I promise that we will not go to our rooms until we are told that we are free to do so.
  18. Coastal Kitchen is the Suites restaurant and has a different menu than that of the MDR.
  19. Unless you are sailing in a suite and then there is no service charge.
  20. This is not as uncommon as you may think. When we booked our suite on Harmony we were told that it was the last suite available. When the Royal Up email came in, out of curiosity I went to the site and was offered the opportunity to bid on every class of suite above ours. Based on this I tried to see if I could get a better price from the current Black Friday Sale. No suites available to do a mock sailing on to compare prices.
  21. We do the same thing. We grab our cards out of the mail slot, drop off our carry on bags in the room, and lock passports and wallets in the safe. Once done we head to the CL or SL.
  22. A lot of sushi restaurants in Japan do that as well. Keep in mind the Japanese flash freeze vs putting in a standard freezer. Flash freezing preserves the food much better.
  23. I agree about the Elite Happy hour being convenient to the early dining guest. However, my pre-dinner drinks start about an hour or two after lunch. It's never too early for a pre-dinner drink.
