  1. Should also mention that the preferred direction is to walk counter clockwise. (Up and forward on the starboard side, down and aft on the port side).
  2. @Jim_Iain I noticed a short while ago the filet on the Kids Menu appears to have been changed to a 5-oz sirloin. I hope you'll be able to give us a critique on your sailing next month. Just like you, it was a favorite menu item of mine when I wanted something on the smaller size.
  3. I assume that you have visited the information for those Ports here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/2-ports-of-call/ I am seeing very recent activity for those ports of call.
  4. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese from the kids menu on our last Quantum cruise and quite enjoyed it.
  5. Was looking at the Menu for our upcoming Millennium cruise and it appears that the filet on the Kids MDR menu has been replaced with a 5-oz Sirloin Steak. But I agree, pairing that steak with the Fish Goujons makes a nice surf and turf.
  6. Before the shutdown, I thought the appetizers served during the Happy Hour in the Sky Lounge were very good. Also the finger foods in the Retreat Lounge on Celebrity are as good as, if not better than those in the Diamond/Concierge/Suite Lounge on RCCL.
  7. Good to know. The last time I used OBC in the casino, was on Allure, when I would print out the ticket, the ticket would only be what winnings I had and remaining OBC would be credited back to my account.
  8. My experience has been that the non-refundable stays in your onboard account and only anything beyond that can be cashed out. Why not use it for extra gratuities. There is a form you can get from Guest Services that will allow you to assign all or part to any individual on the ship, by name and position.
  9. I cannot say for sure to either question. Since check-in is normally about 45 days from sailing, my guess is that it should show up by then but will not be able to tell until next month or January 4th when check-in for my cruise opens.
  10. We have always received them within a couple of days. You may want to check your email Spam folder to see if they ended up there.
  11. For boarding purposes Junior Suite guest are to use the Suite guest queue. We' sailed in Junior Suites on 13 separate cruises and always used with Suite guest line without issue.
  12. I prefer Crystal over Tabasco for chicken wings but nothing beats Tabasco on eggs.
  13. Ask your room steward or most any crew member. If there is free WiFi available they will know where it is. My experience has been most bars and or restaurants around the cruise port offer free WiFi with purchases. Look for the signs.
  14. Can Flights by Celebrity accommodate arriving a day early or do the require you to fly the day of sailing?
  15. I have requested and received Tabasco, my hot sauce of preference. They may have others but since I received Tabasco I did not check.
  16. Since your cruise will be visiting Canada, you should check what the requirements for Canada say for minor children. Personally, if there is enough time before the cruise I would get them Passport Cards. That’s our daughter and son did for their minor children when we sailed in the Caribbean with them.
  17. I checked and it’s only showing up through the end of December for Harmony so I have a bit of time yet before I can check for my Feb 18 cruise.
  18. Baltimore will be cold in February. Charlestown should be a little warmer but still should warrant cool weather clothing. The further south you go the warmer it will be. However, that being said, I pack long pants, more long sleeve dress shirts, short sleeve polo shirts. My wife wears capri’s, jeans, long sleeve blouses, and always has at least a light sweater. Similar to Alaska cruises, dressing in layers is usually the key.
  19. I think it depends more on the taste / quality than the price. I have had some expensive bourbon I would only use in a mix drink and then I have had some for under $50 that I would enjoy drinking poured over an ice cube. And there are some, Buffalo Trace and Woodford come to mind, that I would drink either mixed or straight.
  20. Waiting another week does not get you to 30 days before the sail date but good luck.
  21. Not sure what you mean by that. All the other dining venue's and menu's are in the app.
  22. I would agree but with a qualifier, it depends on the cocktail. Mixing an high end bourbon with coke is just sinful.
  23. You can purchase those but they do not give them to you until the last night. Alcohol purchased in the stores onboard is not for consumption onboard.
  24. I have been known to body check a few times myself, followed by a very vocal 'excuse me.'
  25. Damn, I wonder what they have been serving me if not black coffee every time I order a cofee americano? Taste just like black coffee to me but then again I guess it's not..
