  1. We have stayed at the Renaissance near the cruise port on multiple occasions. The only issue we have ever had was getting access to our room if we arrived before 4 pm. They have almost never had rooms available for early check in.
  2. I did not see any Buffalo Trace on Quantum in August and September. I know they did not have Crown as a fellow passenger said that he normally drinks that and they did not have it anywhere on the ship.
  3. He had asked our waiter what the most anyone had eaten was and the waiter told him 13 was the most he had seen anyone eat. His 15 year old ego kicked in! Four hours later he had his younger sister bring him two slices of pizza. Now he is a linebacker on his college football team.
  4. No, nor Al size full tails. This was 2018 in the MDR.
  5. Almond croissants were delivered to us almost as soon as we sat down in Coastal Kitchen on Quantum after we had asked for them our first breakfast.
  6. I had a grandson eat 15 lobster tails in the MDR on Allure.
  7. I would not wait for check-in. If you believe you are supposed to have the Premium beverage package on the cruise showing the limes, sort it out with Celebrity now, either via your TA or direct if you booked direct with Celebrity.
  8. As a suite guest your restaurant will be Luminae, which is for Suite Guest. Our experience is that the quality of food and service in Luminae is much better than the Main Dining Room. You can order items off the MDR menu in Luminae and I believe some have even been able to order items from Blu as well. You can view the menu items for the restaurants on the Celebrity app but we usually ask for the MDR menu when we get our Luminae menu's.
  9. As @Merion_Momsaid, yes the Concierge will do that for you. For our last cruise on Quantum, we had the concierge make dinner reservations in CK, reservations for shows that 'required reservations', as well a for the North Star and iFly. Any arrangements that you can think of that you would like you can request of the Suite Concierge and she/he will do their best to accomodate you.
  10. Get a scoop of French Vanilla Ice Cream and pour a shot of Bailey's over it. Makes a really great dessert or night cap.
  11. Nope. I will not sail Carnival ever again. So let Carnival do what they please.
  12. Just because you should not does not necessarily mean you cannot. If these people went unpunished, then I am extremely disappointed in Royal Caribbean.
  13. Interesting. We sailed on Quantum earlier out of Seattle and both of the roulette wheels were European with the single 0. I prefer these as I always bet 0
  14. My wife and I are the same. Both have two separate cards, once for initial two doses and one for the two boosters. We will be going tomorrow to our family doctor's office and getting the flu shot and seeing if we need to get the newer vaccine. The little wallets that hold our passports on one side and shot cards on the other is very convenient. Yes, to fully complete the check-in online all that information is needed. However, as mentioned earlier, you can go to check-in section of the app, select a check-in time and exit. Then at your leisure you can go back and upload photographs, passport information, etc. It does not all have to be done when you first use the check-in on the app.
  15. I just entered the passport information vice photo's of our passports. I did post photo's of our vaccination records, but this was back in July.
  16. True - which is why I agree that after a certain period of time threads should be deleted as the information is obsolete and leads to more confusion.
  17. We always get a kettle in the room and make our own hot water. We bring insulated mugs and find them very useful in 'brewing' our own tea. However, we mainly drink green tea but love the Tea Forte Jasmine Green Tea.
  18. If I am sitting at the bar and having a couple of drinks, or in the lounge, instead of tipping per drink, I leave a tip when I finish a drink. When sitting at a table and being served by the wait staff, I tip per drink. If I walk up to the bar and get a single drink, I tip at time of service.
  19. At least he searched and found an existing thread instead of starting up a new one.
  20. Nice. Did not know they had it in 2012. We did not sail in December 2012.
  21. Celebrity's requirement for Australia and New Zealand seem pretty clear to me. https://www.celebritycruises.com/healthy-at-sea/australia-new-zealand-travel-requirements

  23. If I read the site correctly, testing is only required for non-vaccinated guest. At least that is what it said when I looked for Cartagena, which is a stop on our Panama Canal transit in April on Milly.
  24. Hang your clothes on a hanger, hang them in the bathroom, and run the shower with only hot water and steam the clothes. Turn off the shower, and leave the clothes hanging. Wrinkles pretty much disappear.
