  1. If you need a negative test results, there are a couple posted on the Royal Caribbean Forum 🙂
  2. We enjoyed our visits to Izumi on Quantum. Granted the menu was limited but what we had was delicious. What did you not enjoy/like about Izumi on Quantum.
  3. But I have only seen you drink white wine. Red is different. Red wine was meant to be enjoyed, not chugged like a beer or white wine.
  4. Interesting. After a dozen cruises on Celebrity I have never found a loyalty lounge. Can you tell me where it is so I can visit on when we cruise on Millennium next April? Due to customer feedback Celebrity has reintroduced "cruise fare" bookings. There is no drink package or WiFi included with those. Personally, I think the included drinks, WiFi, gratuties, and OBC are a big positive and one of the reasons we really like sailing on Celebrity.
  5. Received our Quantum of the Seas block we ordered in September today.
  6. We get the kettle and take tea bags and instant coffee with us. Our tea bags usually go unused as we both really enjoy the Tea Forte they have on the ship. As for instant coffee, I never liked it until I tried some of this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BCMQGJGF? Just need to remember to pick up a double shot of Bailey's and put in the cooler before going to bed.
  7. I am thinking of treating my wife to a West Coast to Hawaii in 2024. Keep looking for those to show up.
  8. On one our Celebrity cruises we were in a Concierge room. We met a Japanese gentleman and his son, my wife was the only other Japanese person on the ship, who were in a Royal Suite. They invited us to dine with them in Luminae. I found out there as a service charge for this and tried to paid it. When I tried to pay and ask the maitre'd to change my account they said it was not allowed. All other interactions we had with them was either in a public space, e.g. martini bar, or their stateroom. We did not ask and they did not offer to take us into Michael's Club.
  9. You do have to get them a C&A member number for them to get the status pre-cruise. You do not have to have already cruised to apply for a C&A account.
  10. I am curious how the letter is worded. It has been full service bar drinks were available at not cost during happy while free hour, beer, wine & soda were available 1100 - 2300. We are no sailing on Harmony until February so ti will be awhile before we are contacted.
  11. Partners, as long as the residence addresses are the same is what I was told.
  12. I guess we are the anomaly. We eat as many of our meals as we can in CK. May do one dinner in a specialty restaurant, in addition to a lunch or two at Izumi.
  13. At lunch time on our last cruise on Quantum we would take a walk through Windjammer to see what offerings they had prior to going to Coastal Kitchen. We knew if we wanted something from the buffet they would bring it to us in CK but we did not want to be an imposition so if we saw something we wanted in the Windjammer we would eat there, if not, we would go to CK and have our lunch. I am a big fan of spicy food and just wish the Indian food they served was made with more spice, like you find in an Indian restaurant. I keep a sharp lookout for any meat based vindaloo dish, lamb being my favorite, and hope that it is made correctly. I understand not everyone likes spicy food but do wish cruise ships would make spicy dishes available for those of us who do enjoy a flavorful dish.
  14. You must call or email. (800) 526-9723 crownandanchor@rccl.com https://dlxffu6hwewxp.cloudfront.net/cas/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/18063159_CAS_MemberBonus_Amenity_List_v3.pdf
  15. The signs in the terminal say it. The Suite Guest line is for Suite Guest. Does the sign on the Mens bathroom say women are not allowed? Seriously. When my wife travels with me, she has the same boarding status that I do so we board together.
  16. But knowing it is not allowed but asking anyway is asking someone if it is okay to go against the policy or rule. I disagree with your statement that is not wrong for the OP to ask someone at the pier if going against that policy or rule is okay. But as they say, opinions are like noses and the all smell different. (Or other variations along the same theme)
  17. Yes, I have taken one of those on my last five cruise.
  18. Yes, you can order those I have no idea where they were prepared but they were fresh and hot when served. We did a B2B on Quantum in Aug/Sep of this year and ordered items from the always available, my wife loves the French Onion Soup, and I had the burger, spaghetti with meat sauce, and banana split from the children's menu.
  19. So you go to the terminal together, you go to the suite line, they go to their's and you meet up onboard at a pre-determined location. Chance are you may have different muster locations and would have to spilt up anyway. As some one else has already said, you have to think about the others that all want to do the same thing. How would you feel if you were in a suite and every other party in front of you was a suite guest and a group of their non-suite guest friends. I see it more of a question of "Should you" versus "can you." My opinion, you should not.
  20. It's easy to figure out - Take me and my wife for example. My wife and I drink different types of wine. She prefers while/sweet wines, whereas I am a red wine and definitely not sweet. So we each order a bottle of our favorite and fail to finish the whole bottle in one setting. We would then have left over wine that we could take back to the cabin. Full disclosure: If we don't finish a bottle, we have the store it and serve it to us at our next meal. p.s. I know you mean that as rhetorical but I could not resist.
  21. They have a designated Happy Hour - I believe it is 5 - 8 PM each night except for embarkation and the night of the Captain's Reception. Instead of a number of drinks of any type at any time, qualifying Captains Club members can choose from the below selection of drinks.
  22. I use the ships horn at sail away as my signal to put our phones in airplane mode. Prior to the COVID shutdown, I would leave our phones in the safe and only use the WiFi for my tablet or PC. Now I find having the phone with it's wonderful camera, access to the electronic schedule/daily planner, restaurant and bar menus worth carrying. Since we always have the premium WiFi package. Our shipboard routing is to connect my Wife's iPad to the ships WiFi so she can watch the things she wants to watch on YouTube. Her phone gets turned off and goes into the safe. On the other had, I primarily use the WiFi for my iPhone and our kids know to call my number and not their mom's if they need to reach us. I do alternate my connections between the iPHone, my MacBook Air, and my iPad depending on the activity that I am engaged in. It is all 100% personal use since I am retired and have not 'work' commitments that require me to be connected.
