  1. The Thermal Spa passes should be available (if not sold-out) when logged into your account. Bookable items are listed on the left-hand side (scroll down under the NCL logo). The Daily Service Charge covers "tips", unless you wish to give cash tips onboard.
  2. True is only the Premium package was purchased. However, above discussion is referring the the Premium Plus package, which does include each of the perks listed by @nonchalant_muse!
  3. @Cannotwaitocruise It would be to your advantage to read the Terms and Conditions to the current promotions. (link below) https://www.ncl.com/about/terms-and-conditions/promotions Please consider purchasing a separate meal package for your mother, since sharing (most likely) will create a charge at each Specialty restaurant.
  4. Look for an ongoing "live" post for your cruise ship (scroll down through the following threads).
  5. You do not need to provide any additional tip (which are covered by the Daily Service Charges). However, if you feel that your server provided excellent, timely, service, you may wish to add a tip.
  6. No "Summer Walk" on the Prima, that I can recall. However, Deck 8 has Zone names: Forward is La Terrazza. The glass viewing walkway is called Ocean Walk. In the center area you'll find either The Drop Zone (Port side), or The Rush Zone (Starboard side), which are then followed by Infinity Beach heading toward the aft. So many names for what we, otherwise, know as the promenade deck. It certainly has some large sculptures and nice plants!
  7. For one of our recent cruises, NCL cancelled some ports, and likewise, our excursions. The changes took place several weeks prior to the embarkation date. I kept looking at our credit card account for the credits. However, NCL had placed the credits for those excursions on our onboard accounts for that cruise.
  8. Unless we always miss a notification stating something like that is available, we have not seen that 'perk" made available to us, even at Sapphire or above.
  9. 🤪 Your reply does seem to align with NCL logic!
  10. If you aren't in a Suite/Haven and/or do not have an excursion ticket, then you should utilize either the numbered ticket, or your status, to join the end of the line. Each stateroom group should go together, (or join the line later if they choose). Wishing you best of luck on your GSC day (hopefully conditions are good for tendering and it is a fun filled day)!
  11. It depends on when then excursion is cancelled. If Pre-cruise, then your credit card is refunded. However, if the excursion is cancelled onboard the ship, you receive refundable Onboard credits. *** Be sure to use, or cash-out, your refundable before disembarkation day.***
  12. @Something fun! It does not matter when you booked.
  13. DH used to travel frequently (before retirement). He'd pack his own gear, but I learned to go behind him add some things that I knew he would likely need. I cannot tell you how many times I got thanked, not just by my DH, but also his commanding officer. Apparently it's true that old dogs can't learn new tricks! Or, perhaps he likes to help me feel needed? 😉
  14. Pike Place Market is approximately 1/2 - 3/4 mile walk to Bell Street at Pier 66.
  15. Hopefully you will have a great time once you are onboard!
  16. There should be no reason for the battery operated neck fans to be a problem!
  17. Two different terms have been mentioned above. At GSC, the Cabanas and Villas are quite different. Be sure you know which you want to book!!!
  18. I don't know if this link (with photos) will help you at all, but 10106 should be "similar-ish" to 13106, despite the fact that our room was smaller (and did NOT have the sofa that converts to 3rd passenger bed that should be in 13106)! Room 13106 is larger for that reason!!! https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/1981007-ncl-cabin-information-compilation-no-cabin-questions-posted-here-please/page/24/#comment-64348066
  19. There are plenty of on-line companies for shore excursions, however, go here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/456-caribbean/ Then, Scroll through the assorted locations you will be visiting and read through the advice given. ... BTW, do you happen to live in/near Santa Claus, IN?
  20. DH & I were on a 9-day on the Sky in December 2022. Our itinerary was similar to yours, but in a different order. We stopped at Puerto Plata first, and unlike many of the larger ships, we did dock at Taino Bay.(Lots of work was being done at that port!) We took the Ocean World Day Pass & Dominican Adventure. We enjoyed a nice, easy beach and ocean-life shows. Food and drink were not included, but not crazy expensive either...okay! I would not repeat this excursion in the future, but we did enjoy the day!!! In St Thomas, we took the Panoramic St Thomas Island & Overlooks. (We have been to St Thomas many times, so we were looking for a quiet and easy day). Scenery is nice, but it turns out we stopped at too many "shops" and not enough great "scenes." In St John's Antigua was, sadly, even less impressive than St Thomas. (Don't go on their scenic drive!!!) In Phillipsburg, St Martin, we took the Aerial Sky Explorer & 360 Views, which we enjoyed immensely. Of note, they offer Zip-Line (FAST!!! which we did not take, but others enjoyed it thoroughly! In San Juan, PR we took the El Yunque Rainforest drive. The drive does take a fairly long time (might be times of day business traffic), but we enjoyed the fresh mountain air w/a "threat" of rain showers. Some of the areas were under re-construction, so we had some limitations, but overall, we did enjoy the day. Our final stop was GSC, which we had missed on two previous cruises last year. We've also been there a half-dozen times or more, but not for quite a few times. It's a tender ride from the ship, which take longer to load/unload than to actually get from the ship to the island (you can see the ship from the island all day long). We were impressed with many improvements and additions from over the years. We had booked a Villa at Silver Cove. Which is great! But honestly, unless you want a totally quietly resting atmosphere, and being spoiled by servers, it is not a necessity. I enjoyed being in the water snorkeling. It was not awesome, but is decent. The bars are good, the food mostly okay for it's purpose, and there's plenty of music and activities available if you want to join in. If you have not been to St Thomas before, I recommend the Sky lift. We walked from the ship to the lift loading area. (Many people think that it is too far to walk, and also hate the stairs up to the lift loading area. (We are late 60's-70 and don't find it difficult. We've done that several times!)
  21. @DaDead I also want to state that many of the same restaurants are on each of the other ships, and there are some great recent reviews that have photos and comments about specific items. Perhaps those might be of interest/help you!
