  1. Yes, by making sure that is the first restaurant you book.
  2. The laundry service is good! Occasionally, we have sent some items that we probably should have laundered at home. We had one incident of "never returned" (lost item), and a few items have shrunk or snagged (oops), faded/color change, or had permanent creases where they didn't belong. Only the completely lost item was upsetting to me. They searched for days... and, maybe someone went home with a nightgown they never had before!😏
  3. If you happen to be a "what if" kind of person (injured, ill while off ship), then having a Passport with at least 6 months prior to cruise completion, might be important.
  4. All shows must be booked onboard. Go ASAP upon embarkation to the designated location (See NCL FREESTYLE DAILY for the location!)
  5. DH just called NCL about their Military Appreciation Program. (We both signed-up in November.) From listening to the conversation, it seems that the program is still too new for each ship to be able to implement any "MAP perks" effectively (and Miami Reservations know very little, overall, about it)! DH requested the "MAP10OFF" (discount code) for a qualifying cruise we had already booked. That reservation now shows the MAP10OFF discount in the PROMO CODES, and within the Add-ons as "1 x Military Appreciation."
  6. We were on the Breakaway mid-January. No robe in the room (and we never did meet our room steward). However, I guess if we had left a note, we might have been able to get a robe. Thankfully, robes aren't an issue for us.
  7. Some things, such as Tylenol/Ibuprofen/Aspirin and cold/flu meds/cough drops have not been available onboard (in the shops) of some of the ships. So, it really is a good idea to pack some (in order to avoid VERY costly purchases in the medical clinic).
  8. If I were you, I would take some important things like OTC meds, Insect wipes, and Sunscreen.
  9. Yes, the prices are up! You are looking during a peak time, so that scenario demands higher-prices. If you want a particular room (size, location, and so forth) you need to go ahead and book ASAP for best selection.
  10. Harvest Caye is an NCL owned, but primarily operated by Belizean citizens, as a deal NCL was required to make in order to complete their plans for the island. Therefore, all NCL excursions on Harvest Caye are made with ship card (if not pre-purchased). If you wish to leave Harvest Caye to get to Plascencia, you have to use NCL sponsored ferryboat.
  11. NCL now allows the Latitudes coupon to be used in almost all restaurants! Here's the link for Latitudes' T&C's https://www.ncl.com/latitudes-rewards-program (However take note especially of 6 that I added below!) 6 Benefit is available on sailings 5 days or longer, and entitles each guest to an appetizer, one entrée and dessert of choice. Upcharges apply to certain premium menu items; Raw Bar Seafood Platter is not included. Bottle of Wine offered in all venues offering Complimentary Wine list, Palomar not included. In à la carte restaurants, coupon can be redeemed for 4 menu items per person (Sushi, Wasabi, Nama, Teppanyaki, Hasuki, Food Republic, Pincho Tapas Bar or Raw Bar). Additional entrées will incur supplemental charges. Dinner coupons are non-transferrable. Solo guests cannot claim two dinners. Coupons can’t be used for the same venue twice. 2 guests maximum. Dining options vary by ship.
  12. The PDF's worked for me (and I often have trouble opening things because of my security settings!
  13. Nothing from a "vending" dispenser is included in either of the beverage packages.
  14. Happy to say, Yes, the information is correct!
  15. You could use this link on NCL: https://www.ncl.com/onboard-packages Scroll downward to Party Packages. or, you may call: 1.800.327.7030
  16. You seem like a very Good friend!!! Sadly, I don't believe it is likely that things would happen the way you would like. When you place an order for any gifts/celebration items onboard, the order must have the Reservation number (in order for the gift to be sent to the correct stateroom). Because, of that Resv# tracking all things to be delivered to the room, the items will be listed on their paperwork! Having said the above, IF they are traveling pre-cruise to the port, and don't look at their account within the last 3-5 days prior to embarkation, it is possible that you could get that order placed and your friends not find-out until they get to the room. I know this because my son was able to surprise us with a bouquet of roses for our anniversary. But, the key part of that is, after we had printed our paperwork (a week prior to the cruise) we didn't look at our account again! Anyway, I am wishing you and your friends the very best!!!☘️
  17. Unless you are in the Haven (or a suite) onboard, you won't have quite the same advantage with priority tender boarding. Having said that, be prepared to head down to the tender boarding area as soon as you are able. Your Shore Excursion Ticket does give you the ability to go ahead of anyone without a ShorEx ticket. Still, you might have to be prepared to go even earlier than you would typically guess, and might still stand around waiting to go.
  18. The above posts got me curious... DH and I have MILITARY. We each applied for the Military discount within the past few months.
  19. I was merely stating that NCL offers a bag, usually mid week, with a laundry special price. We've never taken any laundry bags from any ship, since we travel with our own.
