I got a bit behind for a while but I seem to have picked the right time to come back and get caught up - just as you were finishing up! I had a great time following along with you, your mom and your dad. Kudos to your mom for all the walking she did! My own mobility impairments seem to be different than hers but I know all too well how difficult all of those cobblestones and stairs must have been for her and I admire her perseverance in doing as much as she did but also the wisdom she showed in knowing when it was time for her to rest. Thank you again for doing this review. I had fun following along!

I love your mooring line shot with the sea lion! I’ve seen a lot of mooring line shots and taken quite a few myself but I’ve never seen one with a sea lion! @Mr. IT, I think @Denversail is holding her own with this one! 😀

White night and Italian night do not go well together for me! By the end of dinner my white outfit would be tomato sauce red and white! 🤣😂🤣

I think I’ll try and find our WOW bands from our pre pandemic Symphony cruise and take them with us on Wonder. I saw them somewhere recently so I know we still have them. Now if I can just remember where……. 🤔😂🤣

I hope it happens for you someday too. 🥰 I sure hope that wasn’t your suitcase rolling down the highway! W had trouble locating DH’s suitcase on our recent Allure cruise. The suitcase had its own Air Tag in it plus he couldn’t find his keys which had their own Air Tag. Turned out that he had put his keys in the suitcase which did show up but not after I’d called the parking lot to see if he had left them there. I guess nobody loading suitcases had an iPhone. 🤷‍♀️ On our Odyssey cruise openings for free times on North Star and iFly were showing up each morning so keep checking daily. We were able to walk on to free North Star one day by showing up and hoping for people who had reservations to no show. We got lucky and were able to get right on. Hope you can too.

Please stop telling everyone how nice the space in a JS is! Prices are going up enough already so let’s not make them any more popular than they already are and drive up the prices even more! We’ve always been able to board in the Suite line when we’re in a JS. You probably would have been able to avoid some of the embarkation chaos that way.

I’m glad we got one last turn on Allure before she gets amped even though it was a 4 day/3 day that went in circles in the Bahamas, not the Cozumel run on the 4 day that we had originally booked. We were cruising mainly for the ship, not the ports this time so we still had a great time in spite of the itinerary changes.

I’m sorry to see that your Flowrider boards didn’t make the baggage cut. Otherwise it sounds like a great cruise so I’m looking forward to following along.

@niksmom630 the only black box I’m seeing is post #16. All the other pictures are beautiful! I used to be afraid of heights but at some point in my life with no effort on my part to get over that fear I realized that I was no longer afraid and that I actually enjoy heights now. 🤷‍♀️ I have no idea how or why that happened but I’m glad it did! I would be right there on that giant Ferris wheel and up that Space Needle ASAP!

We sailed Symphony in April 2019 which turned out to be our last cruise before the pandemic. It was also the cruise when we sailed with @BillOh and Gina. We had a great cruise! Loved the ship! I love your idea about an excursion to visit the ship next door! Depends on what ship it was though. I’d definitely do an excursion to see Icon!

I thought it was bad when our April 26 3 day Allure cruise was chartered. At least I was able to switch to the 3 day following the 4 day that was meant to be the 2nd leg of our Allure B2B and even keep the same room. @sandebeach, I hope you’re able to find options that will work for you.

Watched your sailaway this evening on the Port Canaveral Webcam. Remembered to turn it on just in time. I was surprised to see Symphony docked at the Carnival dock but fun to watch Wonder sail past Symphony. Hope you and Gina have a great cruise! We pretty much did melt. We had planned to stay until park closing at 6:00 but at about 4:30 we looked at each other and both said that it was time to go because we were melted. We stopped for dinner near the park to cool off, rehydrate more than we’d already been doing, and let most of the rush hour traffic get home before we made the drive. That was definitely a good idea. 💡

Mike, I love hearing you talk about food! I’m not going to try to keep up with you in that department! I plan on following you on that other site you’ll be posting on and give you a gentle reminder about the entertainment schedule. 😄 Bill & Gina, welcome to hot, sunny Orlando! Please remember to stay hydrated! Outdoor temps in the mid to high 90’s the rest of this week and if you’re going to any of the parks remember that all of that concrete makes it feel even hotter. Barry and I were in Busch Gardens on Monday with an actual high of 90 and hydration and sunscreen were essential. I’ve been wanting to make a Grills or Fishlips run because we haven’t been in a while but and was thinking maybe this weekend but then I realized it’s Memorial Day weekend 😱 so that trip will not be happening. We’ll be waving at you from the webcam instead. Hope you have a great cruise! I’ll be following along with your review. 😎

I’d really appreciate a copy of the entertainment sheet for the Western Caribbean itinerary. While I DO know how to find it in the app I find it way easier to work with using the sheet they give you onboard rather than flipping back and forth through the app. We have traditionally been late MBR people but these days the one of us who is not a night owl is having a lot of trouble staying awake for those late show times even though he loves seeing the shows. We also have friends sailing with us on this cruise and they’re not night owls either. Barry and I switched to early dining on the four day leg of our recent Allure cruise which we were able to make work but kept our late dining time for the three day leg because we were able to find 7PM shows on two of the three nights and had Coco Beach Club 😋🦞🥩😋 so we simply skipped the MDR on the third night because we were stuffed from lunch. Well, we did grab a couple slices of pizza 🍕 but that was plenty for us. Anyway, I’d love to see the show schedule for Wonder Western Caribbean so I can try to figure out if we can make our late dining work or if we’ll have to either switch to early dining or just make other plans for dinner. We sail September 8. @BillOh and/or @OCSC Mike, I’d really appreciate it if you would post a copy of your entertainment schedules. Hope you both have great cruises on Wonder and any other Wonder specific tips or things not to miss would be appreciated as well.
