We have sailed with celebrity many times. This will be our fourth cruise since the reopening. Granted we haven’t been on board since the cutbacks but I have no doubt it will be as amazing as always. You will love Murano!!!

Thanks so much for your review. We are boarding 2/23. I too would not be happy with a balcony you described as we spend a lot of time out there. As far a the OV did you notice cuts at all meals or just dinner? Did you go to the martini bar? Wondering about staff there as we have never before had to go to the bar and order our own drinks but that may have changed.

Exactly what I was thinking. I would rather they limit guests than pack the house and the service suffers.

I just did this. Completed the check in time and then completed our passport information, etc a week later.

And with this being your first Celebrity cruise hopefully you will wait until you complete it to decide.

Murano and Lawn Club Grill are our favorites. We have sailed both Celebrity and RC and in no way is the food on celebrity, or anything else in my opinion, inferior to RC. We are on this ship 2/23 and can’t wait!

I love that martini too. I think a lot of the staff at the martini bar came from other ships (our martinis bar staff on Summit in October 2021 were going to The Edge) so I would think there’s a good chance they will know how to make it.

They also have self serve ice machines and water at the buffet.

That has happened to us too. Usually it corrects itself in a few days but if it doesn’t I would call.

If you pay through a TA you can’t see any pricing on your Celebrity Account.

They do that. You get one day of points.

Right?!! I’m not that comfortable with great pricing after the last fiasco.

The adults only doesn’t matter to me as we only see a few kids on celebrity. It’s not the same as a land resort. That’s when adults only is a must! 🤣

Thank you for sharing. We are thinking of doing a move up bid on the Summit but we’re concerned about location since we obviously can’t pick the cabin.

I believe, but could be wrong, that Virgin does not include drink package. My son and his husband are doing a 5 night Virgin cruise and then continuing on the Silhouette with us in February. I’m looking forward to hearing the comparison.

Isn’t retreat always all included unless it’s a move up bid? Good to know if it isn’t. I wouldn’t want to make that mistake.

Click on your initials and then order history. But if you booked a suite they all come with the upgraded drink and WiFi packages. If you did a move up bid your perks stay the same.

Got the same call. Offered us an inside cabin. I told them check my history we have never booked an inside cabin. Emailed Lisa L office. Got a call in 15 minutes. The higher ups had a meeting today and there are no options but paying the price or inside cabin. I let her know how disappointed we are in Celebrity. Told her we sailed on the last ship before the shut down and one of the first after. We’ve been loyal. We have 4 cruises booked and I let her know we will have to think about what we are going to do.

This link shows they are raising the price of the drink packages on 12/19 but didn’t they just raise the prices substantially?
