I was on the Sun in October for the Panama Canal and Nicaragua was removed from our list of ports then. The United States issued a Level 3 advisory on December 5, 2022, for traveling to Nicaragua. This is mainly due to the country's political situation and limited healthcare availability.

We usually book a majority of our excursions once we are on the ship and have always received the $50.00 off once the excusrsion is completed. I did this as recent as October when I did a Panama Canal cruise and had not booked anything before boarding. The latitudes rewards excursion discount has never appeared so I have always had to go to the Shore Excursion desk to have them apply it.

Thanks, I figured they would be strict about it, but I'll ask all they can say is no.

Any idea if BF can come with me to the wine tasting as he is not Platinum yet?

Look forward to your comments as we get on the day you get off for 11 days and then stay on for the next 7. I have been on the Dawn before, BF is still fairly new to crusing but I think he is hooked. Have a great time.

I was on the Sun in October and just asked room steward for the coffee pot and supplies and he replenished daily. Yes, it is the round disc as previously.

I think the foul mouth female should have been asked to leave as no one should have to put up with that. Since they did not you did the right thing as I would have left also.

I prepaid mine the other day on the website with no problem. I just booked another cruise for 2023 and NCL added my gratuities onto my invoice at the reduced price which I will pay in May when final payment is due.

I am waiting for TA to call me back and will be utilizing Amex offer and 3 cruise next on a balcony on the Escape in September doing New England coast. Have never seen the offer to use 3, luckily I bought 4 when I was on the Sun in October and will buy some more on the Dawn in February.

Good luck, way too stressful for me, I would have been looking at a train or bus to get me there.

Remember, you got to choose your room when you booked, as cruises get closer to sailing dates prices sometimes go down to fill the ship. Don't be disappointed at this date if NCL does not do anything for you. If the price had gone up would you want them to bill you the difference?

Looks like you have great weather in PR except for that shower. We were there 2 days before our cruise in February and it poured for both days. Even the day we left PR it was so bad you could hear everyones phones dinging with weather alerts. When we came back to port the following week it was still pouring. We were doing a B2B and had thought we would have gotten off to explore then but no such luck. Enjoying your review as always.
