Bottled water is ok. We tried walking off with a coffee and it was a no go. Have taken off protein/energy bars with no issues. In the Caribbean we take bars that aren’t chocolate covered as they tend to melt. it varies from port to port. Never know what is and isn’t allowed. This reminds me of where I worked and retired from. I was in the automotive industry. There were over 12,000 employees. There was a complaint department with one employee. Her name was Mrs Back. There are some cabins with obstructions look at the deck plan. The cabin may be next to those that extend out. There is also the preference if you want the bed to be by the bath or the veranda. Pros and cons for each. There is also the preference of being close to the lifts, stairs, area of the ship, side of the ship, and deck. If the savings is enough and you don’t really care about any of that stuff then go for it . Who knows, you might be upgraded to a premium suite. It helps if you say you are celebrating a birthday, honeymoon, and anniversary. 🙄 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Not really. I get them for free from the food pantry. I also am able to sail for free since my student loan was forgiven and I also qualify to get free utilities. I maxed out my Credit Cards, get free medical, and am able to sail in suites. So glad I blew my money and didn’t save it. The government gives me everything. 👍🤗. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

There are so many on here that just make a comment of following, love the photos and etc that don’t really contribute to anything except for those comments. The bad thing is that they quote the entire post that takes up a lot of space on the thread for really nothing. And then they constantly do that for every photo or post that the OP makes Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I should start wearing my lanyard and cap with all of my Carnival pins. 🤗😱 We were on one cruise and one of the rare times in Luminae. A couple was wearing some pin and always sitting near us . I asked our server and he said it had to do with their status on RCCL. Whenever we were in a suite I wouldn’t flaunt my silver card. I would keep it in my the palm of my hand until asked for it. After a few times the servers would know our cabin number and not ask for it. In another 20 years when I reach Zenith I will wear it on a lanyard only because I will be around 100 years old and won’t remember where I put it. 👍🙄 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I am sure you have to go to the area where the group is meeting. It is usually in the theater. You get a number and then the group is escorted to the tender by the group number. If you were If you were in the retreat area you wouldn’t hear the number and you would also be on a top deck and not have the group number that is needed for the tour. The tender boards off of the Magic carpet that is stationed at a bottom deck for that purpose. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The bath products are in dispensers in the shower. I am not fussy but have found that the conditioner seems to cause a lot of static in the small amount of hair that I have. It wont lay flat after using it. My wife also claims it does the same with her hair. She now takes on her own brand. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

If you don’t like buffets why would you like the Spa Cafe? It isn’t much different than a buffet. Both have small plates set out, coffee machines, and beverage dispensers that have cups, and glasses on trays to use. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Blu, MDR, Luminae, specialty restaurant. 12 at a table anywhere isn’t the best situation. One time in Blu there was a large group. They always sat at the 2 tops in a row that butted up to the window. 4 tables, 8 people. Naturally there was alway the life of the party. She would come in and announce that she was here to everyone in the dining area. Every time one of her group came in she would greet them loud enough so everyone in dining area knew they arrived. She was very loud during the whole time at the table and wanted to make sure that everyone in her group was having a great time. I was waiting for her to get up on the table and start dancing. On our last cruise we were in a suite so we were dined in Luminae. There was a group of 8. They all sat at one table and the organizer had name cards that were placed at random. The group would come in look at the cards and yell who the name was at that spot. During the whole time they were talking very loud across the table to everyone. Fine first night and maybe the next would be different. We liked the server and the area except for that. It was the same on the 2nd night. The 3rd night we asked the Maitre d to be seated in a different area because of them and it had nothing to do with the server. He said understood as many have complained not only because of the noise but of the language being used and he talked to them about it. We sat in a different area after. The dining area was split in 2 different rooms by a divider. Think about having that special night in a specialty restaurant and then have to put up with a large group that destroys the intimacy. Just something to think about. Sit at a 2 tables of 6 or 3 or 3 of 4. You are only able to talk to the people next to you. The other is when in a large group the dinner gets served very slow and the food isn’t always at the right temp. It isn’t polite to start eating until everyone is served. 🤗 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

It depends on what age is a senior. According to AARP it is 50. If that is the base the majority of the passengers would qualify for a discount. If they ever did that they would increase the price by 15% across the board and then offer a 10% discount for seniors so they think that they are getting bargain. It would be like the restaurants that has specials for seniors. Cheaper prices, smaller portions. Went to a restaurant the other day. It was during their happy hour. We ordered some items off of the HH menu. The server asked if we wanted the HH portion for 1/2 off or the regular size at full price. We took the smaller and glad we did because the food wasn’t that good. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

It is possible but highly unlikely for the next person to tap into that account. It has been a while but I think you need to enter your pin to draw on your room charge. People will get up and leave without thinking about logging out. After a time without playing the session ends. Play is determined by money played. It is a relatively small area. It is SRO when there are some big sport events on the TV. It also gets very crowded like many of the bars do when it is the Elite HH. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

You can save a lot of money and time by visiting the Martini Bar. Don’t need the Spa, or gym. It is cheaper to get the drink package. 👍🤫 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The Equinox isn’t going to be like the Beyond. The Retreat Sun Deck is basically that, a sun deck. The SS have bathtubs with the shower head and it is rather difficult stepping into the tub. I am fairly flexible and it is a challenge. Plus you are standing in a slippery tub with a little slope rounding up on the sides. Not the safest thing to be in a on a ship. AQ and CC have shower stalls. AQ has Blu as their restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner. There is a Retreat Lounge on deck 4 or 5 don’t remember. It is an inside area. The big draw of the SS is Luminae, extra space, Butler service that we rarely used and emabarkation and disembarkation. Is it worth the extra cost? It is your dollars. We have sailed many times in a SS on almost every Celebrity ship. All of our next cruises are in AQ. Can’t justify the extra cost. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

If you get a thrill about narrowly getting under the bridge sail on a RCCL ship that has funnels that are lowered to pass under. Stand on the top deck you will be closer to the bridge. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
