  1. That sounds like a good plan. 😊 It could be worthwhile talking to the Sommelier on board.
  2. Wine and other alcoholic beverages are available throughout the day, not just lunch and dinner. We have been able to find one of the included wines satisfactory on most occasions. Packages should include more expensive wines. Items listed in packages are often substituted. Enjoy your cruise!
  3. No worries. Not a major deviation. It seems that most threads go somewhat off course, but no problem if that helps someone else find an answer to their question.
  4. Thanks for your response @swigso Still hoping for some input from anyone who has cruised in 6304, as there seem to be considerable variation of layout in photos and videos we have seen.
  5. I have scrolled through many posts and pictures, but still have some questions for anyone who has sailed in this suite : Layout of the room appears to be different in different photos bearing the same suite number, so some cannot be correct. 🤔 So looking for confirmation (and photos if you have them) from anyone who has actually cruised in this room. Looking specifically for location of the pole (or poles) and ease of splitting the bed. Thanks and happy cruising to all. 😊
  6. Five days quarantine seems to be normal in most paces now, unless still symptomatic.
  7. Issues like these need to be reported to crew at management level for a good response.
  8. Much better blag, but not a single "not applicable" 4. Are your FUTURE cruises, OBC, Excursions, packages etc. fully correct? In order to submit my responses, I have answered yes, as my future cruises are fully correct in that none are showing, as i don't have any booked.
  9. Two options to avoid that smoke - exit on the other side of the Pool Bar, or walk to the other end of the Pool Deck to the facilities outside Windows Cafe.
  10. I'm sure you will enjoy Croatia and Azamara are well known for their excellent itineraries. However, Celebrity Eclipse in December was far superior to Azamara Quest in February. Bigger ships have more venues and variety. We have done 31 Azamara cruises and only a handful of Celebrity and have more booked with Celebrity, but none at present with Azamara. The music level (above safe decibel level on Azamara) has been a definite influencer as far as our future bookings go.
  11. Apart from the ear shattering decibel level! But it is not the on board experience that people are mostly talking about - the problem is inaccuracy of documentation, the pre-cruise angst and the time spent once on board having those inaccuracies rectified, instead of enjoying a relaxing holiday. Even then, in some cases, not all problems have been rectified on board.
  12. We have used OBC on several occasions for airport transfer at the end of the cruise.
  13. We found the decibel level creeping up on consecutive cruises in the few years prior to covid and had several conversations with various crew members in authoritative positions. On our last cruise (first post covid) in February, the decibel level was consistently above the safe level of 85 and at times over 100. We had enjoyed music and dancing over our previous 30 cruises, but on this occasion, after the first day or so we actively avoided certain areas during "entertainment."

    New website.

At changeover : My number was correct My loyalty status was correct - Discoverer Plus My points were incorrect - some had been removed and last cruise not added. A few weeks ago : My number had changed My loyalty had been reduced to Preview All my points had disappeared. No response to contact with attached screen grabs from prior to changeover. Just watching the forum and waiting before any further contact . . . . . . . . . . .
  15. Last time we were in Marseilles was early October 2018, docked close to the Cathedral which was fortunate, as it was all one could do to stay upright in the very strong windy conditions!
  16. Using FCC is no different to making any other form of payment and has no effect on your "perks" However - IF you have moved from one cruise on a given date to another cruise on another date - the extras from the first date (in this case OBC) would be lost and extras applicable at the time of booking the new/moved date of your cruise would apply.
  17. We may have been on the same cruise! Other times we have docked close to the Cathedral.
  18. The cruise is 15 nights leaving Sydney on 19 October and ending in Singapore. Solstice will overnight in Bali.
  19. You could also contact the Hotel Director of the ship you will be on and explain the situation. From past experience (not in a situation like yours) the Hotel Directors are usually very helpful as far as making things work to ensure cruisers are happy.
  20. With both sides closed, it sounds like one would have to walk either up to deck 10 or down to deck 8 and back down or up from forward on deck 9 to access the Buffet - that would be annoying.
  21. "For those who have already filled out the Account Login Help Form, we have updated your loyalty points accordingly." Just not true!

Just not true. Mine were almost correct until I was reduced within the past couple of weeks to never having cruised with Azamara . Perhaps if I sent the form with documentary evidence again magic might occur. 🤔
  23. Just look at the ingredients of any cocktail you do like and check it against included spirits. You'll soon see what will not cost any more.
  24. I am wondering what has happened to Eclipse between December 2022 and now?? We did not notice anything dreadfully concerning - in fact the opposite - scrupulous attention to sanitising high touch areas such as hand rails on the stairs, also lifts, both outside and inside. If there was a little peeling paint, or a hole in some fabric - would that have affected our cruise experience - no. A large stain I agree could be somewhat off-putting, but some stains are extremely difficult to remove - especially if the person who caused the (presumed) spill did not let staff know at the time, therefore prolonging the time before it received initial attention and making it more difficult, or even impossible to remove. Surely everyone is aware that all cruise lines are doing it at least a bit tough, having had no income for several years. The ships are cruising, the beds are comfortable, the linen is clean, food is enjoyable and people are enjoying their travel. Cosmetic refurbishment will come soon enough!
