  1. Or... log in to Princess, go to Booked Guests then Access Cruise Personalizer. Take your choice...
  2. I have my LottoMax with Encore. Got big plans for Thursday morning.
  3. So, there you go. In the last two months I've done CBP pre-clearance in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto airports and had nary a problem.
  4. I like to think that people mis-interpret the question(s). They may believe their boarding times are GMT.
  5. Hahaha.... Canada dictating to US about pre-clearance in certain ports because of some inconvenienced cruise passengers?
  6. If you think you'll be stopping for lunch and a beer and maybe a shirt, you'll be fine with a credit card. Otherwise, Canadian currency.
  7. I think you received your answer(s) - the definition of backpack is vague and the airlines provide the dimensions of what can fit under the seat. What people may or may not have experienced isn't a great way to assess what your experience may be.
  8. Gizfish didn't link the reasons you may need travel/medical insurance to age; you may wish to reconsider the potential consequences of travelling without it.
  9. I agree. Flying into Anchorage and making your way to Seward on the same day is, in my opinion, too tight a schedule in case there are delays at point of departure, luggage issues, transfer to port etc.... I just don't see the need to trot out road closures, floods, fires, plagues of locusts and whatever else that could delay a traveller when there are all sorts of common and mundane reasons that could lead to travel problems which could most likely be avoided by coming in a day early.
  10. If you sent an e-mail followed up by a phone call do you think your TA could save you 12-15%?
  11. What about hiring a seaplane or helicopter to get from Anchorage to Seward? What if the road is totally washed out three days beforehand and impassable... how far in advance should a traveller arrive in Anchorage in case some hypothetical and unlikely event takes place?
  12. We like to stay within easy walking distance of Bryant Park and Times Square. For a trip to NYC in early June, we're trying the Casablanca Hotel on West 43rd Street. Lots of subway choices (Bronx Zoo, Yankee Stadium and Brooklyn Botanical Gardens are on our agenda for this trip) and easy to get to hotel for a rest if need be. From this area, access to Manhattan Cruise Terminal, by taxi, very easy.
  13. For a first-time visitor it may very well make a big difference. Hopping on the bus at EWR and being delivered to Bryant Park is easy and painless. Taking buses and subways from LGA to Manhattan may be a bit daunting for visitors, especially if they have luggage.
  14. I expect you are flying in to New York. Which airport? This may help narrow down your search.
  15. If a visitor to Montreal is interested in places of worship, they ought to check this out: https://centrebell.ca/en/guided-tours
  16. Take a look at the schedule(s) in post #2. You have to make your way to the ferry, take a one hour boat ride, look around Avalon and take a ferry back in enough time to be onboard for departure. I'm sure it will become apparent that all this is not practical/feasible on a port day stop.
  17. I suspect it was the airline/baggage handlers. What do you plan on doing?
  18. Yes. In Ontario, the minimum wage is $16.55/hour. Service industry workers are not paid less than this. You need to adjust your understanding of how 'the world' works.... it doesn't necessarily mimic what's permissible in your state.
  19. As 1025cruise said.... the ship time will change to Alaska time (local time), you will change your watch and everybody ought to be on the same time as the people running the excursions.
  20. I expect Billy wasn't huffy because of the tip; the amount was much too low.
  21. Well then, I'd say 'someone' is too easily insulted if they believe there is any relationship between what they paid for their cruise and what they may be offered by non-cruise transportation operators. Following your reasoning, cruisers ought to turn their ire on to the cruise lines for every problem they have at an airport or with an air carrier.
