We chose Pisa for our Livorno day and got a taxi. There were plenty waiting right as we got out of the terminal. He said he could also take us to Florence as well but we knew with my elderly mother Pisa would be enough.

We found out the night before we did not have to get a tender ticket if not on an excursion we would be allowed off when they made the announcement that we were cleared to go ashore. I think that was around 7:30 am.

We have never been on that ship but although we have taken 4 cruises with Royal and after we board always head right for The Windjammer.

I always print everything out and keep in a folder but before we get in a line whether it is to board a cruise ship or enter an attraction I always take it out and give to everyone so are ready when it is our turn and do not hold anyone up behind us.

He said he could take us anywhere else but with my elderly mother being with us this was enough. For Portofino it is a tender port and you can walk around on your own seeing the castle and shops.

Our ports were mostly different than yours but we mostly did on our own usually there were taxis outside the terminal. Instead of Cannes we had Villefrance which was a tender port and we took a taxi to Monaco. For Livorno we took a taxi to Pisa.

We were recently there and right when we walked out of the terminal there were taxis waiting. We took one to Pisa but I am sure can take you where you need to go.

On our recent Med cruise in July we got an e-mail 30 days before with our cruise documents and on the last page was a luggage tag. I had to make a few copies of it.

We recently visited both places on our own and it was just fine. We bought both tickets online and for St. Mark’s got the one that included the altar and museum upstairs. We also booked the bell tower.

We were recently on a 7 day Med cruise in a Junior Suite. We did the prepaid gratuities but our stateroom attendant was so wonderful so we also left 75 euros in an envelope for him in the room on the last day. We saw him later that day and he was so appreciative.We also gave to our wait staff as well.

Only slightly which was our fault. The taxi driver who brought us to Monaco gave us a card with his phone number on it and said to call 30 minutes before we were ready to return to the port. Even though we have an international plan on our cell phones had trouble making the call. Luckily there was a tour group near us who were on a break so we asked the leader what we were doing wrong trying to call out and she made the call for us on her cell phone. We should have arranged a time and place for him to come back for us.

We sailed out of Barcelona in July and masks were not required. I do not think we had to wear them anywhere our entire trip and visited 3 countries plus a principality but had brought with us just in case.

We were recently there on a cruise with Royal and a few days before we disembarked there was a flyer about options. It did not list the Civi train station so we went down to guest services and found out they arrange transportation for that as well. It was 25 not sure if euros or dollars per person. Then we picked a time had different choices. When we got out there were people in the terminal asking if we had arranged anything and once it arrived took us out to our shuttle which was a van and there was another family with us.
