Anthem casino cigar smoking ??

I don't think it is in any casino on any ship but I could be wrong. Personally I prefer the smell of a cigar to a cigarette.

I agree Cigarette smoking stinks but a good cigar has a better smell,

I don't think cigar smoking is allowed in the casino. I can't understand why they build these "mega-ships" and don't put a cigar lounge in them. Voyager class and Freedom class all have cigar lounges.

Unfortunately, they are removing the cigar lounges during the dry docks.

Why Bob is that unfortunate? I applaud Royal for this.

Because if you don't then nobody else should be allowed?? Gotta love that way of thinking. I'm not a full time cigar smoker but when we visited a port known for good cigars me and my FIL would get one and smoke it on the ship. It was something we looked forward to. These cigar lounges in no way affected others yet they want to complain simply because of the fact they were there.

Because I think the cigar smokers should have a place out of the wind to smoke that does not affect non-smokers.

Well, we certainly disagree on this. Smoking is smoking. I don’t care if it is a Cigar, Cigarette, Pot, Vape. Most all land based indoor areas are now smoke free. Cruise ships should be as well.

I would agree for public areas or places like the casino where they cannot really keep the smoke away from the so-called non-smoking area. However, the Connoisseur Club was a purpose designed space, isolated from any other venue. It was not a problem avoiding it. I don't have a problem with a designated smoking space as long as the smoke does not infiltrate non-smoking spaces.

If one smokes outdoors, typically the smoke doesn’t saturate the smokers hair, clothes. In an enclosed area, just the opposite. Jump on an elevator or walk by in a smoker in a indoor area, non smokers know who has recently smoked indoors. The stench of smoke is repulsing to some.

I must say, I have never been in the Connoisseur Club.

I suppose the next step is to outlaw perfume and have mandatory use of deodorant. Why stop there, no food plates allowed on elevators, that stench is repulsive to some...........

Cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco must be properly disposed of and never thrown overboard. Cigar and pipe tobacco is limited to designated outdoor areas and Cigar Bars**. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, possess or use tobacco onboard.
