BroncosFan2010 Posted June 10, 2010 #126 Share Posted June 10, 2010 So, something as natural as breast-feeding a baby is Gross? Inappropriate, yes, but gross? Really. Yes, especially when the kid is 2 1/2 and can walk and say full sentences. Time to put the breast away.
BroncosFan2010 Posted June 10, 2010 #127 Share Posted June 10, 2010 I can top that, even thought it was not on a cruise ship. At breakfast at a conference, my tablemate noticed there was no cream on the table for her coffee and just used a few squirts of breastmilk instead. Pretty darn funny if you ask me! The image will never leave me. EW! That is next level gross!
citygirl Posted June 10, 2010 #128 Share Posted June 10, 2010 DH found a pile of feces when he walked into the steam shower in persian gardens on our 5/23 Solstice cruise, he told an attendant he found and they promptly cleaned it up, but EWWWWW
Rare TMaine Posted June 10, 2010 #129 Share Posted June 10, 2010 We were on Galaxy a few years ago, after enjoying a wonderful dinner in the MDR we left and went to the elevators. Directly in front of the elevators and trailing inside one of them, someone had defecated on the floor and inside the elevator. It was disgusting but we laughed and still joke about it. Crew was notified about the incident.
Jill SC Posted June 10, 2010 #130 Share Posted June 10, 2010 This observation won't hit the top 10 but on every cruise we observe people loading up their trays at the buffet like there won't be any food available for the next 13 days! Then they pick around at the pile and leave 75% of it on the tray. To me this is gross + gross! Saw one lady in the buffet put food on her plate and then she decided had too much so she put some back. Also saw one man at the carving station in the buffet line, while the server was away for a moment, pulling pieces off the roast beef and eating them. On that cruise we started going to the dining room for breakfast and lunch.

derf5585 Posted June 10, 2010 #132 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Time to put the breast away. Breastfeeding past two years is called "full term breastfeeding" or extended breastfeeding or "sustained breastfeeding" by supporters and those outside the U.S.[94] Supporters of extended breastfeeding believe that all the benefits of human milk, nutritional, immunological and emotional, continue for as long as a child nurses. Often the older child will nurse infrequently or sporadically as a way of bonding with the mother from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breastfeeding
derf5585 Posted June 10, 2010 #133 Share Posted June 10, 2010 I saw a man take his Formal Night picture & stuff it down his pants. He told his wife that was too much money & they (photographers) would just throw the picture out anyway! Blatant theft in my eyes. I take my notebook computer with a portable scanner. USVI-4-me Posted June 10, 2010 #134 Share Posted June 10, 2010 There was a woman with very frizzy split end ugly hair that was about to her waist. She sat in front of me and proceeded to shake and fluff her hair and all these pieces of dead hair went flying into my drink. And yes I DID say something. Also... people.... in the public restrooms... flush the dang toilet after you use it, ya know what I mean, jelly bean? (These are probably the people referred to above that don't wash their hands after using the potty.) We were eating our meal in the Select Dining area on Equinox, a group sat at a round table next to our table for two; one lady had long hair that smelled like she hadn't washed it for a long time. Her chair was right at our table with her hair hanging over our table.... Too close for comfort. We left. The ladies washroom close to the Equinox Theatre, usually spotless, was trashed when tours were late. Frustration maybe, taken out on the innocent housekeeper. Or did it happen other times and the housekeeper managed to keep up? Later, a passenger peeled a banana and put the peel in the mesh holder on the tour bus. USVI-4-me Posted June 10, 2010 #135 Share Posted June 10, 2010 grossest thing I have seen on a ship???? ....a mirror:eek: Ah the mirror. The ship photographer took a pic of me one evening and put it on the first screen on the tv in our cabin on Equinox. I visited the photo gallery to have the photo removed as I didn't care for it and didn't like seeing it every time DH turned on the tv. Answer is "No, we can't take it off, just change the channel". They did not get my cabin number again or anymore photos.
Tomato53 Posted June 10, 2010 #136 Share Posted June 10, 2010 OK, I'm adding "grossest thing" to my personal never read threads. Now I can skip all booze smuggling, dress code and grossest thing.

USVI-4-me Posted June 10, 2010 #138 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Geez, guys! I have been on a whole bunch of cruises and never seen anything nearly as gross as these! Maybe I'm just not paying enough attention! It's better for me to not pay too close attention to what others are doing but I wonder if the gorgeous young girl in an expensive swimsuit is taking washroom breaks when she goes from Persian Garden to main pool to hot tubs.... oops, better not to think about it. Another thought to ponder is why some women object to another lady bringing an obviously deteriorating man into a washroom. Perhaps, he's become disoriented in his old age. It's gross to think new ships don't have "family washrooms" like the amusement parks, etc.
Kapricorn Posted June 10, 2010 #139 Share Posted June 10, 2010 In the ship's buffet I saw a girl, 12 or 13 years old, yank out a spoon from the food counter too fast that she dislodged another spoon, which fell and clattered around on the deck. She picked it up, put it back with the other spoons and went on her way. Donald.

tamsno Posted June 10, 2010 #142 Share Posted June 10, 2010 This has really been hilarous to read. Both the incidents and the comments. You guys rock. It's like a good comedy routine, builds and builds until you get you get to the "pussy sore" story and then it's total laughter from then on, of course in combination with the very nice glass of wine I have been enjoying while reading. The overweight lady appearing to be nude in her bikini has to be one of the winners.... On a HAL cruise a couple of years ago the very pleasant couple in the adjoining cabin never knew they were clearly reflected and seen by us on the balcony day and night. They were totally nude every time!!.... And another HAL time the charming "honeymooners" next door were clearly heard nightly through the connecting door. Who says HAL is quiet and sedate!!:D

Room Service! Posted June 11, 2010 #150 Share Posted June 11, 2010 OMG! That happened to me. I was sitting topless on our balcony, when I heard an older man on the next balcony say "That woman's naked over there"! It was funny as hell, but I did draw my knees up. I've learned to hang a towel over the balcony first, although I really don't care. I'm sitting on my own balcony, not parading around. Chances are I'll never see you again.
