Maasdam on Regis and Kelly

Recommended Posts

:) You're right. Did you notice just after she said "Marsdam" the second time, the camera zoomed right onto the ship's name painted on her side.

Sigh...... Wish we were there. Can't wait to return.

Yes, I noticed that! Thank you Sail, loved watching (and hearing) that!

Yes, that was great when they zoomed in on the ships name....I'm surprised that no one corrected Kelly-usually someone helps them out. Oh well, it was fun to see and watch-the ship looked very grand there!

Sad is right! Once was bad enough, but twice was like fingernails on a chalk board. Maybe we should all write to the show and educate her...:p

If you do that, HAL will probably give her a cruise in the Penthouse FREE to educate her regarding the name of the ship. I LOVED how they zoomed in on the name of the ship and I LOVED all the "answers" from the bridge!:)

So....... seeing as on board TV does not receive network stations, how did the bridge know just when to sound the horn? :D Think it was pre-arranged/scripted :) to have someone from the ship with phone to the bridge to tell them, NOW!@!! :D :D

Here is a link to a CBC Radio telephone interview with a member of the New Brunswick Symphony. Regis and Joy appeared at the Moncton Casino with the orchestra prior to going to PEI. It seems that the rehearsal was delayed somewhat as Regis and his wife had forgotten their passports and were held up at the border for two hours.
