Show us Your Aft!

Thanks for the lovely aft pictures! I have a 24-hour hold on Freedom #9706...does anyone have pictures of this aft cabin? This is our second cruise and I've already spent countless hours getting to the "hold" stage - LOL! Thanks
Sorry missed your 24 hour hold period, hope you've decided on 9706. However, I can't help with 9706 until we come back from our May sailing on Liberty.

But I have previously found some of 9406 which is opposite to 9706.

Thanks peteukmcr - great pictures! We did go ahead and book 9706 - if it's as nice as your pics of 9406, we will be 2 happy campers...er, cruisers! :D Do you know, are the loungers usually on the balcony or do you have to request them?

Not sure about the loungers as we've never had an aft cabin before. But as they are showing in most photos I've seen, hopefully they are there already. If not, we'll just ask to see if we can get some.

Be sure to take pics of your cabin & balcony - I will be looking for your review in May! Our Freedom cruise is still a ways off...but I can dream! :)

We just did a B2B on Serenade, had 8172 aft cabin, and I am not sure it was because of our diamond status but not only did we have 2 sunbeds they also had a matress top on them which made the really confortable to lay on  The cabin next to us on one side had jsut the 2 standard beds and on the other side only 1 sunbed :(

This was our first visit to an aft and we are sold on them, booking the same 2 weeks next year but in the corner :D

Regards.

Paul

We've had AFT on Celebrity, wrap around AFT on Carnival, AFT suite on NCL and now a D1 AFT on Freedom. Not many pics from Freedom, but here are a few:

Thanks for the pics, we have 1402 for our upcoming transatlantic on Liberty and the balcony looks great. We have previously had 1390 on Voyager class ships which I believe is almost identical.

Only 6 weeks to go for us now and your pics have made me even more excited.

BTW we have had quite a few afts on both RCL and X and have always had loungers already on the balcony.

I finally got round to uploading our pics and here's a pic of the sunbed tops I mentioned, never seen them before.

And one of the reasons why we love the aft cabins, this was our departure from Dominica.

Just to let everyone know this is a good site to look at for cabin photos

It is a free site I ran across, add your pictures there for everyone to see.

Hi unfortunately the link only appears as ***. Would you mind emailing the link to me on luckie_puris@yahoo.com.au? Thanks!

Too cute!

Does the balcony come with the little boy or do I have to pay extra?

I have more pics S.Carol.... I will share them when I have more time.

It is a great cabin. Dont listen to the people who say the AFT cabins are a long walk. It took us about a minute or so to get there. My son ran down the hall with his Sea Pass card and would beat us to the room.

My son loved the bunk!!!

Jewel of the Seas (Radiance Class) 1100 - JS aft-port corner, deck 10. Absolutely loved it.

And one of my favourite photos ever - long exposure taken well after sunset on almost perfectly flat sea - you can see the standing waves and diffraction patterns caused by the ship, which is fascinating to a geek like me :)
