As far as I know the small town of Giethoorn(also in The Netherlands), where much "traffic" takes places in small boats bears that title.

Yep, never, never, never take pics of the girls in the windows in A'dam! It's a big No No and their pimps have been known to chase those who do and that's no day at the beach!:cool:

And Ine is right of course, the town of Giethoorn, also in Holland in the province of Overijssel, is known there as the 'official' Venice of the North

Great review! About walking people--We always pay strict attention to them, but I made the same mistake and about crippled my SIL. We both went on the first one, I went by myself on the second, and we CANCELLED the third in hopes of surviving the cruise! Somehow when you're at home in your comfy chair, you think you are much more capable than you are (or at least we do).
