The Diamond event is held in the Viking Crown Lounge at the rear of the lounge. This area is also used as a Cigar Club after 10PM.

Enjoying your beautiful pics & updates of the ports Radio! Can't wait to do the same ones in a few weeks especially Key West as that port was cancelled last Feb. for us because of high winds! We've never been there. Hope you'll be taking lots of pics!

 

Thanks for the info on the Viking Crown Lounge still being open. You mentioned that it's for the Diamond event. As I recall it was also used as the overflow lounge for Diamond plus. Is it still? Asking because we had found the Conceirge Lounge was extremely crowded whenever we attempted to go.

Great as always Radio! Is the Manatee Park over on Banana River Blvd across A1A from the beach? We bought a condo in Cape Canaveral, and I vaguely remember a Manatee Park over there someplace...same place?:confused:

Not sure which one Radio went to,but the one I have been to is in Cape Canaveral........its off A1A.take the road between Zacharys and the mini golf place(West Central Blvd).......follow it all the way to the park.

Hi Radio!

 

I'm loving your pics and your "Live From" posts :)

 

We are going on a 7 night Bermuda cruise in October this year and I was wondering if the shops and casino are open while we are there for 2 and a half days? I have heard both yes and no from both RCL peopel I have spoken to on the phone and also here on the boards. So I thought who better to ask than the "PRO" Radio! I think it would be very strange at nights with the casino not open....;)

Enjoying the trip report so far. Those shots up thread of the Enchantment superstructure against the sky showed one of the best color saturated blue skies I've ever seen.

 

We've only been to Key West once so I'll be paying attention to your shots from there.

Michael Landry actually has been on a little longer. He does a four month stint - 2 months replacing the food and beverage director Trevor Curtis (SP?) and 2 months replacing Gary Davies. He's both people's relief while they're on vacation. He was on the ship on the December 5 cruise as food and beverage manager while we were on the ship. Not sure when he actually boarded. He takes his vacation while both people are back from their vacations.

 

Also saw where someone asked when, or if, the Blairs would be back. Heard Mitch say they would be back on the 16th.

Hello everyone. . . Today is a beautiful sunny day. We follow the east coast of Florida down south as we pass Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami until we get to Key West.

 

The sun is hot, and the winds are light. Hundreds of passengers are laying out in the sun or napping in the shade. . .There is something to do for everyone. The "Live" pool band is very good.(and they play good music too) The Jump Zone has been active all day with passengers. They allow you to jump for 10 min at a time, and then you can get back in line to jump again.

 

It’s a perfect time for me to watch the news for a bit (secret code for take a snooze)

The water came back on at 6AM. . .There are a few in our group (including me) that does not qualify for the weight limit (220 lbs) :eek:

 

Gator, Medicken and I can film all of the women at the Jump Zone. . .
