RCCL 2006-2007 Product Opening Schedule!

Recommended Posts

I just checked the RCCL website and I still don't see any summer prices for the Caribbean beyond April 2006 (other than the Freedom)? Just curious how you have this information? and which ships will be sailing from May thru August out of Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Galveston, New Orleans, & Port Canaveral?

This information was provided to TA's yesterday. I don't have the time right now to go back and see what ships are sailing from where, so maybe someone else will be able to provide that info. If not, I may be able to post it later on.

Julie, I'll answer your question first, I'm a TA who owns a cruise-only agency and RCCL and Celebrity sent a fax yesterday announcing their 2006/2007 product opening schedule. :)

Okay, back to what I think is the questions not answered yet...

Gr8memories, unfortunately no dates yet, the grid they released just shows the itineraries by month. Specific dates come out May 11.

Tyron, starting in November '06, Explorer will go to alternating Eastern/Western itineraries out of Miami on SUNDAYS, and in December '06 Voyager will do the same Eastern/Western with a SATURDAY departure.

Speedwell, nothing specific is listed for Transatlantic but they have to reposition ships so I'm sure they will have them...but for specific itineraries we'll have to wait and see.

Jett, what Rich said. :)

You're right Ella the grid did come in tiny print. If I had seen this thread earlier I could of helped with some of the answers as well. I can get mine in PDF format and I'll try to post it in a minute for those who rather see it in a grid.

I'm doing the Western Caribbean in Sept., but now I'm looking for opinions on Hawaii from those who have done that cruise. Who would be the best option for Hawaii for a 30 something with a 7 year old DD? Maybe parents too (we'll see).

Darn tried attaching but it's too big. It's 2 [pages so trying to figure out how to split pages and save as 2 separate pages to post.

Ella, Thanks for posting the schedule....Does this mean that the Radiance will be taking over the Jewel's route Oct-April??? How do you rate the Radiance v/ The Jewel? Am looking for November sailing right after Thanksgiving

Thanks, Jill;)

Thank you Saint Ella! I've been waiting for this list. DH and I are planning a much needed vacation for next July and he wants a different ship. Thankfully, there are a ton to choose from :D

At first glance, only the Brilliance will be doing a 10/11 day sailing and then only to the Canal. Unless you want to do a back-to-back, it seems RCCL is abandoning those of us who like the longer cruises with losts of sea days.

When will the itineraries be available. I'd like to see the Empress of the Seas itinerary to Bermuda.

The itineraries should be available when pricing comes out, on the dates listed in the original post. I doubt if there will be much of anything before that.

Since the 'release dates' are by ship, I am assuming the repositioning cruises will be released when that particular ship releases its bookings/itineraries? IE: Serenade, Vision, Radiance are releasing their bookings tomorrow . . . so perhaps the Hawaii cruises aka repositioning cruises to Alaska will be released, too? Or am I being wishful? :D

I was over on the Celebrity Boards and while there is a TA sharing some information it doesn't seem as concise as the info you have been kind enough to share here on the RCCL board...Do you by any chance know if there will be a Celebrity ship sailing out of Baltimore, Philly or Cape Liberty in May or June 2006?? Thanks!!

Great info Ella!! Thanks. Do you have any further info concerning the Christmas holiday sailing of the Rhapsody (number of days)? We are celebrating our 20th anniversary and have been looking forward to booking this cruise for over 6 months. Thanks for any info you have.

Paga, I'll check and see if the itineraries have been posted...if not, I'll post Celebrity's over there. :) To answer your question, the Zenith will be doing 7-night Bermuda cruises out of New York from May - October '06. That's it for the ports you listed...Celebrity is really focusing on Europe next year, it seems.

Rangerdog, unfortunately they don't list specific itineraries yet, that info will come out when they release the sailing for booking.

I'm happy to be able to provide the information...I know I've been waiting to see the information too and just wanted everyone to have a heads up. :)

Too bad the Empress has no balcony cabins. We live so close to Philadelphia and love Bermuda, however, we've got to have a balcony. :(

The suites all have balconies on the Empress....................

This 7 nighter is sounding good to me too.......:)
