Great Upsell

We originally booked an window room for our upcoming Med. cruise. Some time back they were selling Veranda rooms for a little less than we were already paying so we switched. We now got an upsell to a Deluxe veranda for an additional $500 each. It does not come out to lot more that our original window.

LaffnVegas posted on another topic some good comments about the deluxe suites on the larger ships not selling out as fast as normal, but the smaller ships seem to be selling fine.

 

I was wondering if HAL's new Star program has had an impact on that. On the larger ships it seems to be a better value to get an superior suite (SZ-SS) and if you are a 4 star you get alot of the perks of a deluxe suite (SC-SA) - priority boarding/tendering, free laundry, etc.

 

Just a theory......

you will love it, we did upsell to suite on last 2 cruises. Breakfast at Pinnacle is such a nice way to start the day.
