Test using an iPad & Photobucket

H: Could you tell me how you did this please? Currently I use Flickr. A lot of steps and back and forth. when you have to post several pictures and trying to do it before the WiFi goes down on the ship it is real nerve wracking. I am looking for an easier route.

First, I'm using an iPad, not a computer. I write my text in Notes, leaving blank lines where I want the photos. I have iResize and Photobucket apps. After loading my photos onto my iPad, I run them through iResize to reduce down the size (I put the width at 1024). I resize all the photos I'm going to use at that time all together. At that point I go online and upload the photos using the Photobucket app, not the website. In the Photobucket app, I bring up the first photo I want to insert. Tap on the photo one time. Various links come up - choose the last one (tap on the right side & it'll indicate the link has been copied. Go to your Notes and paste the photo - you'll just see a code, not the photo, which means you'll have to be careful with your pics. After you finish inserting up to 6 photos within your text, then copy your entire note, go to Cruise Critic and paste into your post. You still will not see your photos, but if you do a preview of your post instead of submit, you'll be able to see them.

Now that I've said all this, it's actually easier to post photos using Tapatalk; however, your photos will be smaller, but still a decent size.

1. Get a hosting site like Shutterfly or Photobucket

2. Upload your pictures there.

3. When your pix are there, bring one up on the site by itself. You can resize it, work with it if you want. Put your mouse pointer over it, right click to copy it.

4. Come to CC, and respond to a post, in the response, place your mouse pointer where you want the pic to appear, right click again, this time, paste it.

What if you're using iPad? I've been trying for a year now to figure this out on my iPad...downloaded so many photobucket and shutterfly type apps...can't figure this out. Can anybody give me some step by step instructions? Right now I've got Shutter fly

Thanks!
