Today's the day! I've been waiting for this day for so long!

I'm wearing my special T-shirt that I made for this cruise. (I embroidered a cruise ship design onto it.) I've been holding onto this shirt for a while now, and it's been taunting me from my desk all this time!

So, first thing's first, time to get some breakfast. We'll grab a bite to eat from downstairs and then relax a bit before rushing off. We're planning on returning the rental car around 10 and then heading to the port from there. It should go smoothly.

Looking forward to your live report! My friends Kevin and Randy are on board with you. They also went to Rusty's yesterday with a couple who are not on the cruise...they called several times and were obviously having a GREAT time, lol.

Here I am! We're hanging out in the Champagne Bar, waiting for the muster drill. After that, we're going up to deck 12 for sail away. We'll be just aft of the cantilevered whirlpool and I'll be in a group of about 17 people mostly wearing light blue T-shirts.

Here we are from the Freedom of the Seas. I'm posting from Boleros while listening to the lively, if loud, music from Tropical Breeze. It's very upbeat.

Sail away was great. Most of us made it to the sail away spot, but we stopped waving after we passed FishLips, not realizing that the camera would focus on us after we passed. Nonetheless, I was able to see us from my iPhone after we passed, and that was cool. I'm hoping to buy the video from InletPhotos.com after I return home.

Dinner with the new menu was challenging. I wasn't expecting to have to think so much since I'm not used to these new menu items. I got the "mojo" pork chop. It was blander than I expected from the word "mojo", but otherwise okay. Dinner was otherwise pretty good, but slower than I'm used to with My Time Dining.

After that, I spent some time in the casino (had some luck, but not much), and here we are in Boleros.

Tomorrow, we are in Coco Cay, weather permitting. We managed to get two cabanas for our group, so there are five of us who will get to enjoy the cabana life there. :) I'm sure we'll have a great time!

More tomorrow...

Here we are at Coco Cay. The Captain just announced that we're here and tendering would be starting soon.

Today is going to be a casual, relaxing day at Coco Cay for me. As I mentioned, we're going to be hanging out in a cabana. I don't think I'm even going to get in the water. I'll bring my knitting and my Kindle and enjoy the peaceful breezes... along with the scattered showers, so I guess I'll bring my umbrella, just in case. :)

Shortly it will be time to grab something for breakfast. I think I'm just going to get something light down at Café Promenade.

Thanks for sharing your cruise w/us. We were on the Freedom in August and missed CoCo Cay. Have a wonderful day and I look forward to hearing more about your cruise. FYI, I, too had the pork chop and didn't care for it much at all. I found it to be bland. It was HUGE, but bland.

Well, I didn't actually spend the day at Coco Cay. I wasn't feeling up to being out in the sun and heat, so I traded my cabana spot to a friend and stayed on the ship where I napped a bit, had some light lunch at Sorrento's, played in the casino -- winning a bit, too! -- and otherwise just chilled by myself.

In a few hours, our group is going to Chops Grille for dinner. I'm looking forward to that. I'm sure it's going to be fantastic!

Do you have to go out on the deck for the muster or is it in a lounge? I am claustraphobic and when they cram us all together on the deck it freaks me a bit.

Depends on your muster station. On Freedom, some are inside, most are outside.

Thanks for spending your time on your live post. We are all living through you at this moment.

We are doing our first Back to Back next August, the DD's college graduation celebration. We have 7 days on FOS Western, then we are doing the Enchantment for the 4 day Bahamas. I was curious as to your comment about the hotel stay compliments of RCL. Did I miss something, or should I just find us something close to stay in. We are flying from the West Coast, so will be needing two days of hotels, a week apart.

I am looking forward to your post, as this will be our first time on a Freedom Class and a Vision class! We have been on the Monarch several times, as we loved her when she was here on the West Coast. Wishing they would send anything back to us!

Have a great trip and I hope your weather is fantastic!

Today's been quite the day. I spent a whole bunch of time in the casino and won a fair bit. The casino host is taking quite a liking to me. :)

We had dinner at Chops Grille tonight and, as expected, it was fantastic. Everyone had a great time and some people even took some of their desserts back to their cabin to finish later.

Tomorrow is an "at sea" day. We have our Meet & Mingle tomorrow. I'm looking forward to meeting people from the Roll Call thread.

After that, it's a leisurely day doing miscellaneous stuff including FlowRider lessons (for my friends, not me), Johnny Rockets, a slot tournament, and other entertaining activities onboard!

I'm sorry I haven't been posting pictures, but for some reason, this time I've just not had the photo bug encouraging me to take my camera around with me. I hope that my text is sufficient to keep you interested in all things Freedom of the Seas, Voyage #332.
