One nifty new (to us) thing is that there are now handles on the outside of the door to the balcony.

 

The door handle must be latched for the A/C in the cabin to work!

 

Now we can go out onto the balcony to blow smoke all over the place (offending non-smokers near and far) :D and latch the door to keep the Cabin A/C on.

 

He'll be onboard all weeks, folks, try the veal, and don't forget to tip your servers! ;)

Check in was a breeze.

 

We parked in a Handicapped slot at the port, checked two bags, went through the scanners (they found Judith's replacement hip and ignored my box of 12 Diet Rite Colas) then straight to the check in desk, got our sea passes, and on up to the waiting area.

I am watching www.portevergladeswebcam.com and noticed that they had to have an ambulance and delayed departure. That happened two weeks ago too, seems like all to often this happens. I wonder if anxiety has a lot to do with some people getting ill on day one???

After the Mustard :D drill we went up to the Pool Bar for a quick smoke (UGH! POO!) and found this sitting on a table.

 

 

Then we walked across the ship for the Pre-M&M

 

 

But is was drizzling and really humid so we went back down to the cabin for awhile.

 

We are about to head for Samba's! :)
