We usually stay at the Embassy Suites, too. I like this hotel. Have a good evening in Ft. Lauderdale!

We had planned to leave home at 9 am but Judith wanted to stop and buy come Crocks for swimming at Labadee so we headed out at 8:30.

 

We stopped at the Waffle house for breakfast.

The Waffle House has the lightest, fluffiest Omelets I have ever had anywhere.

 

We then headed south on I-95 which is two lane until close to Port Canaveral.

 

Traffic was light.

Currently inflight - great view of the Gulf coastline - and will likely see you onboard tomorrow! (Visiting family tonight in West Palm Beach, so will miss tonight's dinner.)

Yesterday I copied down the address of the Embassy Suites and Port Everglades for the GPS in the car.

 

I input the address after breakfast at the /Waffle House. I knew the way to the Port but not to the Embassy Suites.

 

Sure enough the GPS took us right to Port Everglades and said "You have arrived at your Destination."

 

DANG! I had put in the port address instead of the hotel address.

 

When we were stopped at the entrance to the port had to do some fast talking and the gate guard let us in and told us how to get to the hotel.

 

Guess what was there?

 

 

So we stopped at a pull over and I tried to put the hotel address into the GPS but I couldn't do it. So I switched to the Map and we found the hotel.

 

Beautiful Centrum at the Embassy Suites.

We have a pre-cruise dinner tonight at Duffy's with about 50 people from our very active Roll Call Thread.

We did the Embassy before our Allure cruise in July.

Now we are re-living
