Direct view into suite if blinds in suite are open. BALCONY SIZE: Sweet 16, big balcony! Half covered. Standing by rail you are visible to cabins above you, but we never saw anyone out there when we were and it was not a concern. Balcony had 3 chairs and a table out there, no loungers. WIND A PROBLEM?: No SOOT A PROBLEM?: No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: No issues, great cabin! Balcony door was hard to pull open/closed, not sure if they are all like that. BALCONY SIZE: Big & fully covered (part of it by canvas). Only 2 chairs and no foot stools available. It was nice to hang out there in the morning (or after shower) WIND A PROBLEM?: No SOOT A PROBLEM?: No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: I shared the room with my parents. Sofa turned into bed the entire time, so we used the balcony as "sitting area" at times. Attendant was great. No issue with balcony door, or water pressure/temp. Bathroom is tiny but that's every room. Definitely will choose this room again

paulhulatt Posted November 23, 2018 #429 Share Posted November 23, 2018 Ship: Constellation Cabin: 3126 Deck: 3 Class: Oceanview (Cat 6) Area/Location: Midship Bed Location / View: Wall-facing Quiet? Yes-ish - Location-wise it's a very quiet place to be however there was a constant humming noise which took a while to get used too Balcony/Porthole View: Excellent Balcony/Porthole Size: Large Wind a Problem? No Soot a Problem? No Problems / Comments: This is one of the newer cabins on the ship, located where the cinema and part of the conference centre used to be. It's on a short corridor which leads from the atrium to the rear stairs/lifts which only really serves Q-Sine (also excellent!) The window is massive and the only real problem we had was the humming noise mentioned above but you did get used to that and we would probably have not noticed it had we not moved from an inside cabin

Yes Balcony View: Slightly Obstructed (see photo below) Balcony Size: Standard for Suite; small round table, 2 chairs, NO foot rests (which was a surprise) Wind a Problem? No Soot a Problem? No Problems / Comments: Nice cabin with all the suite amenities. Butler Peter was phenomenal. Location of 6122 - note that to the left of this cabin, view obstruction becomes less and less. To the right, the lifeboats. We were not bothered with the slightly obstructed view (having to look out (vs. down) to the sea). A quiet cabin in a convenient location. The Celebrity web site picture is NOT the actual cabin layout. The image shows the bed inboard with the seating area outboard. The actual cabin, and all in this area have the beds directly under the window. This makes it very difficult to look out of. As well it also means that the headboard is only about 9 inches above the mattress, very difficult to put a pillow against for reading before bed. Yes Balcony/Porthole View: Excellent! Watched the sun set several times from our balcony Balcony/Porthole Size: Standard size balcony but roomy with two chairs and a small table Wind a Problem? No issues with wind at all Soot a Problem? No Problems / Comments: The newly updated room was wonderful! We had the beds separated and it felt very roomy. Lots of drawers and shelves to store things. The beds were very comfortable and I easily stowed my 28" and 20" suitcase under my single bed. I bought two small collapsible boxes from the Dollar store and used them on the bathroom shelves, freeing up any clutter from the sink. You could do the same in the stateroom with the shelves at the dressing table. The new colors are lovely and very soothing. It's only a few steps away from the aft elevators so it was extremely convenient as you took it right up to 10 and the Oceanview Cafe in the same area. Highly recommend this cabin!

Ereggae Posted April 24, 2019 #450 Share Posted April 24, 2019 (edited) Ship: Summit Revolution (2019 onwards) - Yes Cabin: 1112 Deck: 11 Class: AQ1 Area/Location: Aft-Starboard Bed Location: Wall-facing Quiet? Yes Balcony/Porthole View: Clear view - no obstruction Balcony/Porthole Size: Smaller than others on same deck Wind a Problem? No Soot a Problem? No Comments: I hated this room. The length of the bed makes the room smaller. In addition, the wall in front of the bed is not flat so because of the intrusive abutment to mount the TV, we kept banging into the TV. The bathroom was much smaller and we kept banging into the bar, which is in an awkward position (came home with several bruises). The dream shower jets were removed and replaced with an inferior replacement. Storage was not an issue, however. The balcony was very small and every time it rains it became a swimming pool so we could not go outside. This is a long-standing issue that has been reported numerous times so we thought it would have been addressed during the remodel. In fine form it was ignored.
