I am leaving on the Celebrity Solstice out of San Juan on November 30 which is the OSU Michigan football game. The game starts at noon. Will I be able to see the game on the ship?

Go Bucks!!!!!!!

I am really confused about your question. Why would you want to spoil your vacation watching a Michigan victory?

If your sailaway is on the 30th and that is the day of the game I doubt seriously you will be watching a 12:00P.M. game. Celebrity usually does not play anything prior to the muster drill but the safety videos.

It depends on how determined you are to see the game. If you have Slingbox you can see it on your smart phone, laptop or etc but it will cost for the Internet connection.

They generally have some TV service but on embarkation day I doubt they will carry the game. Celebrity isn't like Carnival where they have network TV, so if this game is on ABC, it won't be shown. Plus, noon is embarkation time and you won't have access to your cabin and all the bars and the casino are shut, so no TV there either.

Welcome to Cruise Critic Lucky Luie........and your first post is a very good question! Like many have stated, unless you can find it on a television in the sports bar you are probably out of luck! At noon it won't be broadcast in your cabin. (how in the world did you agree to a cruise on GAME DAY?) Anyhow, we will be sporting our Buckeye gear here in NC!

A couple of questions:

1) Do you have cable?

2) Do you have an iPhone or another smartphone?

If so, download the "WatchESPN" app. There's an excellent chance that you can watch the game on the app. Make sure that you are not roaming and are still connected to your wireless network and not the ship's wireless network, otherwise the roaming charges will be a killer. But, since you'll still be docked, that shouldn't be a problem. You will need to know your ID from your cable system and the cable system will have to participate. You can get the app and sign in now. Once signed in, you won't need your ID again.

Please note that if you have "Dish" or "DirectTV," you are out-of-luck.

While I grew up in Columbus, I am no longer a Buckeye fan. You can fall in and out of love, but hate is forever. I still can't stand Michigan.

My son lives in Columbus.

We are from Michigan. I despise that school that has our state name. It is so bad I can hardly bring myself to watch any game that they are involved in. Won't ever mention their name.

I only watch two games that are in. Those against MSU and OSU

When my son moved to Columbus for a job. One of the Walmart Wolvies asked him if he knew how to get there.

These were the directions that he gave.

Dirve south until you smell *****, you are now in Ohio, you have to keep driving until you in it. 💩. You are now in Columbus.

The alumni aren't that bad, it is those Walmart Wolvie wannabees. The one coach from MSU said it best when someone referred to the school from AA (Ann Arbor) He aked what does AA stand for arrogant a$$e$?

Doesn't matter. Buckeyes 49, Michigan 7.

I'd tell you when we graduated from Ohio State, but it was so long ago I hardly remember. We were there for Woody Hayes, Rex Kern and Jack Tatum.

We probably ran into each other at CharBar or South Berg!
