Canadian Tyler Posted December 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2013 Not sure if his has been posted yet but just read that the Los Angeles port schedule shows Jewel in sept and oct 2015. Figured this news would make many here happy if true. kimmiecruises Posted December 13, 2013 #7 Share Posted December 13, 2013 Great news! Will have to look & see what the itinerary is, but saving $1000+ in airfare by flying to LA instead of Florida will mean more cruises for us. Just started planning a reunion cruise for 2015, this gives us more options. :):)

Figured this news would make many here happy if true. Link: http://www.portsamerica.com/cruise/los-angeles-terminal.html Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk I can not find any cruises that far out. Do you have a link to the cruises? [i saw the Port list--I am looking for the actual itinerary] I wondered if these three cruises for the Jewel were after the Alaska season. I read in another thread [not sure where] that Rhapsody might be kept in Australia all year. Maybe jewel will take her place. It would be good to do a couple of west coast cruises before they went to another location. Edited December 14, 2013 by DragonOfTheSeas

Beachin2 Posted December 14, 2013 #10 Share Posted December 14, 2013 (edited) If you look at the detail, the berthing dates are 9/26, 10/3 & 10/10/15 which SUGGESTS there MAY be 3 separate 7 night sailings; maybe on her way south from the Alaska season? OK west coast - we have been asking for a second chance - fill the ship! Edited December 14, 2013 by Beachin2

ahecht Posted December 14, 2013 #12 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Looks like two week long cruises, probably between a panama canal transit and a repositioning to Australia to replace Rhapsody.

I predict they will be very popular. Edited December 14, 2013 by DragonOfTheSeas

DEIx15x8 Posted December 14, 2013 #17 Share Posted December 14, 2013 (edited) Never been west of Pittsburgh. Was looking into a week at Disneyland for 2015, this might make that trip even more worthwhile! Never done a radiance class, but have wanted to for awhile. Wonder if they will move her 5/2016 oasisizing up to 2015 before these sailings. Or maybe she is headed to Canada for her's and this will be part of that run. One of the other ships went their. mauimary Posted December 14, 2013 #23 Share Posted December 14, 2013 We too would be curious as to the itinerary. Since it would be after the Alaska season about the only other direction would be to Mexico.....unless RCI decides to make a trip over to Hawaii and back....or possibly up to Vancouver with stops along the west coast. We will stay tuned!

We will stay tuned! Hawaii seems out..since it's 3 one week cruises...and doesn't sound like it's stop overs either..This timeframe has always been when we have done the Mexican Riviera (Viking Serenade, Vision & Mariner many times)...just maybe..or even west coastals..these have quickly sold out when PCL does them....I don't care..and can't wait to book regardless of what the itinerary is..I said I would book the minute RCI comes back to our coast..and will be true to my word :)
