sleepless Posted December 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 15, 2013 How much snow did you all receive from this recent blast from Old Man Winter? In Southeast Michigan, we received between 7-8 inches.

Only 6 inches here, but very wet and heavy. Plus some sleet and freezing rain thrown in for good measure.
papaflamingo Posted December 15, 2013 #7 Share Posted December 15, 2013 No snow, just cold and rainy (in Atlanta). Of course "cold" is relative. High today will be 46 (a warm spell for many of you). But 14 more days Freedom of the Seas here I come! Gonna break out the cruise clothes this week and start the "packing process."

Ken at the beach Posted December 15, 2013 #9 Share Posted December 15, 2013 I'm looking at about 4 inches of fresh snow that needs shoveling now as well. Maybe after another coffee. Only 6 more days till we escape the cold.:)

shelbylook Posted December 15, 2013 #11 Share Posted December 15, 2013 6.5" of snow here in mid-Michigan yesterday and unfortunately it's still snowing. :( Normally I would be keeping up with it as it falls but instead I was on a bus trip to Chicago yesterday. I've put it off long enough this morning. I'm getting ready to head out to shovel and run the snowblower. Yuck. My least favorite thing to do in the winter. Another month an we'll be headed to a warmer climate (Ormond Beach FL) to finish out the winter. Oh, and there's the little detail of a cruise in March! :D Cathy

Dave85 Posted December 15, 2013 #14 Share Posted December 15, 2013 I'm really missing having a winter cruise this year... Ugh, stuck in the cold for the entire winter! It was so nice last year having a New Year's cruise out of Miami!
CruisinCindy Posted December 15, 2013 #15 Share Posted December 15, 2013 A white Christmas is very pretty, but darn, we are forecast for 70 degrees and sunny tomorrow in the San Francisco Bay Area. :) My DH is very happy that he moved here from WI, 48 years of those winters was enough. mikechass Posted December 16, 2013 #22 Share Posted December 16, 2013 Today it was -45 F with the windchill here. The temperature itself was -31 F but with the wind it was -45 F. It is AWFUL and FRIGID... I am (needless to say) counting down the MOMENTS till we are off to LA for our Azamara cruise!!! I may need two days to thaw just to be able to feel my fingers again!!
