Deployment schedule: let the guessing begin!

Recommended Posts

Legend of the Seas has shown up on the Civitavecchia port calendar for only one call the 13th of May, 2015,

13 May (port prior / next port)

CANNES / PALMA DE MAJORCA

This is most likely disproven. Legend is not booked into Cannes for any of the days just prior to the Civitavecchia call, meaning that the call is most likely in error in Rome.

I thought the Serenade was rumored to do the Copenhagen/Stockholm run?

I prefer your speculation thought since it means Legend/Vision would have to do a Western Europe cruise to get from the Med to Northern Europe.

Western Europe cruises are on my "must do" list.:)

With the search down, I probably lost track of the speculation a little there.

You are right it is Brilliance out of Harwich and Serenade out of Copenhagen.

And Legend was just a one season ship for the Baltic then.

Sorry for the confusion.

She's going to be based out of Barcelona apparently

OK. Now realized what you meant. Vision is replacing Serenade out of Barcelona.

While I doubt it, I was only blinded and hoping for inter-porting for shorter cruise opportunities in Europe.

I think Legend or another ship will head to Copenhagen/ Stockholm as those sailings sell well mid-summer on.

Don't know what LEGEND will do in 2015 after she does not seem to offer the longer 12-night-med cruises from Barcelona in 2015.

SERENADE will do Baltic/Norway cruises from Copenhagen and Stockholm, BRILLIANCE from harwich, and now VISION seems to do the 12-nighters from Barcelona. ;)

And you are basing that on what? RCI Director for Spain/France just gave big speech in Barcelona about Royal's commitment to Barcelona. I was not there, so do not know if he mentioned that. He has only confirmed Liberty is leaving and Allure is coming as far as I know.

Based off of a conversation I had with someone senior who works at Royal HQ.

I have to say I'm liking the fact they're shifting the ships around quite significantly. I felt it was getting a little stagnant with the same ships doing the same itineraries largely.

I lost track of where Liberty was going:p. Is she going to Fort Lauderdale to replace Allure's caribbean itineraries?

Liberty is still a mystery. Someone posted about Serenade for Canada/NE from Liberty and I asked if they heard anything. No follow-up from that question.

Some feel she will head for Galveston, but I am not personally betting on that.

She is not showing on any of the European ports that post their schedules in advance.

the email I received this morning shows Freedom in PC

so that would leave Liberty for Galveston:D

Either LIBERTY sails from Galveston beginning May 2015, or she comes to Europe with new itineraries and sails from Galveston in the winter 2015/16 season.

The great Canada/NE cruises, offered by SEENADE, are already on sale. :)

Does anyone have an idea whether QUANTUM will also sail Canada/NE itineraries or will just SERENADE, BRILLIANCE and GRANDEUR sail there??

I'm pretty excited to have a Freedom class ship in Texas. I might have to twist somebody's arm to go with me (since I can no longer afford Royal on my own, thanks to their new solo pricing policy :( )

I can't help but think that with all the refurbishment that was just done on the Navigator that getting a Freedom class ship would almost be a step down. What more does a Freedom class ship offer other than the broadway show on the Liberty. Yes it's a bit bigger but it also holds a lot more people.

H2o Waterpark, Larger casino, On Air karaoke bar/club, Sorrentos, Cantilevered hot tubs, larger gym, and a slightly larger Windjammer.

Recently returned from a cruise on Liberty. My waiter says Liberty will not be going to Galveston but rather to the Far East.

Music to the ears of the Aussies here :). Did he quote a source or give any more information?

Has anyone else heard this?

If that is the case then maybe IOS goes to Galveston when Allure returns to FLL. Although I cant see NOS replacing JOS in San Juan in May 2015 without a replacement for NOS in Galveston at the same time. If that speculation and timeline of NOS/JOS swap is correct then which ship heads to Galveston?

Non of the three ships below show any sailings past April 2015, unlike IOS.

Liberty, Navigator and Jewel.
