LIVE From the ALLURE, 11 Jan 2015, With Trainman-2, Judith, and LYRIC

Dinner in Samba's Grille was without a doubt the best Specialty Restaurant Dinner we have ever had!

A major part of that was excellent food and service but Lyric was so popular with the staff that we all got special attention.

The Matrade suggested the Child's Plate to Ally for Lyric which she approved.

When it arrived he explained to Lyric what everything was and cut it all up for her. Lyric had never has such wonderful service and really enjoyed it.

There is a lot of minor movement of the ship and an apparent wind speed of 42 kts blowing onto the Ship's port bow.

The ship is making 14.7 kts.

We are all pooped and are ready for bed. More tomorrow.

Good Night Everyone!

Good night wonderful photos so far

Monday, Day 2, AT Sea...

Good morning everyone,

It is still dark outside as I post at 6 am this morning.

The Allure is presently off the north coast of Cuba heading for Labadee tomorrow.

It is blustery outside and the upper deck, 16, above the pool deck is closed because of the wind.

The ship's speed is 16.3 kts and the apparent wind speed is 36 kts and coming onto the ship from the port bow.

I am heading up to the pool deck and the smoking area. I have a great book ("Insatiable Appetites" by Stuart Woods) to finish before breakfast in the Windjammer.

More later...

I hope the weather improves for your cruise! I heard that the weather on the Western route was not great last week :( Have a great day! I'm sure you will, you are on the biggest ship in the world with all of the ladies you love!
