Could you take pictures of the new Dynamic Dining menus? Those aren't yet presented on RCCL website.

There was an onboard review of the Jan 11th sailing that showed most if not all the new DD menus. It's back a few pages now, but should be easy to find.

On the January 11 sailing we made it to the Diamond Lounge twice. It was way too crowded. We mainly went to the Music Hall, which was right next door. After they see you are Diamond or above, they don't even bother taking the drinks off the seapass card and you can still use it at other bars as long as it's by 8:30.

So is it between 6pm and 8:30pm drinks are free for Diamond Plus members at all bars onboard or just the Diamond Lounge, Concierge Club and Music Hall.

Is it just wine or do they include other alcohol?

For Diamond and above, 3 drink vouchers are loaded onto your seapass card to use between 5-8:30 daily. In the Diamond Lounge, it's unlimited drinks and they don't deduct off your pass, that's why it's so crowded. You can go to any bar to get your free drinks. It is limited, but they offer vodka, gin, whiskey, beer, wine, etc. There's a list to choose from.

They include other alcohol. They will make just about any mixed drink that doesn't require a blender....i.e. martini, etc.

Drink coupons are not good in the dining room and a couple of other venues that I can't remember right now. At least that is the way it was on our cruise. Both lounges were packed!

Hello everyone. . . .Good Morning and Welcome to DAY 5 of “LIVE” from Quantum of the Seas. We docked right at 7AM at the Havensight area. The skies are clear, and the forecast is for sun and warm (85F).

We are docked behind Disney Fantasy, and will be joined soon by Carnival Sunshine. The ship has already cleared for passengers to go ashore. It’s time for a little breakfast and a coffee or two. . .

I had dinner last night at Devinly Decadence last night and it was very healthy. I was constantly told to “order what you want“. All entrees were under 500 calories. I had the Cowboy Tenderloin and the Flourless chocolate torte. There was no wait up on Deck 14. The service was superb. I may go back this week.

Here are a few pics from our arrival.

When we ate at Devinly Decadence the waitress told me that got changed and you can order the free drinks, so I did. Same thing at American Icon. They even had the Diamond drink menu available.

We're on for 3/1 and reading your posts is making the time go by faster. I will miss not going to St. Thomas again. It's been a standard on so many of our cruises and always enjoy being there. Loved seeing the pic of Senior Frog's again. The ship looks great and your dining post was helpful. We couldn't get early dining times and still have 4 nights to fill. I think we'll just do as you did and take our chances with walk-ins. Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your days even though our itinerary is different. Let us know how the shows are and what else is available in the evening. We do usually spend some time in the casino, but look for other venues as well. Right now looking out the window at 8" of snow but dreaming of the warm cruise coming.

Again, I am enjoying your day by day activities and the wonderful pictures. I am dreaming of the planning we will do soon. I hope your stop in St Thomas is a pleasant one. I have such fond memories of our visits there. Keep up the good work and I will watch for your next post :D

Thanks George. . .I was told our trip to the statue was due to us missing the first port, so we had plenty of time to delay for an hour.

The passengers loved seeing the Statue of Liberty. I liked it too. . .

Glad that you got that great sailaway treat. During the pre-inaugural, special cruises, the Quantum sailed all the way up to a point opposite the Manhattan cruise terminal, before turning around to sail away. :)

Radio, love the review. Can't wait to experience it ourselves. One quick question about boarding. Will they let you park your car and walk with your luggage to the check in? Would this save some time at the pier? Thanks, and keep up the good work. Mike and Sharon Kief

Hello everyone. I made it back on board. Quantum of the Seas left at about 6PM. I should have posted pics earlier but the bandwidth and my wireless connection were not cooperating. I left the ship around 9 AM and went directly to Budget Rent A Car. I always use Budget Rent A Car as it is close to the pier, very inexpensive and I always get nice, clean cars.

I drove over to the North side of St. Thomas to Coral World and Coki Beach. I love Coral World, it may be one of the most underrated attractions in St. Thomas. There are many attractions and feeding times, and it’s a great place to take the family for the day.

I couldn’t go to Coral World without relaxing at beautiful Coki Beach. The water was crystal clear with a very soft, sandy beach. (No water shoes required.) A couple of cold sodas and a nice lounger in the shade make you want to take a snooze. (It worked for me!)

On the way back to the ship I stopped at Paradise Point which I love. They always seem to be working on improvements there and with the new management, the improvements are noticeable. Many years ago I was introduced to the famous Bushwacker at Paradise Point and I always seem to consume one while I am there. The views are delightful and the food and drinks are wonderful but I was ready to go back to the ship and watch some news. I woke up just in time for dinner.

We are sailing toward Bassaterre, St. Kitts and will arrive early (it is only 90 miles from our current position).

Thanks for the nice comments and thanks for tuning in.
