Robes in your room?

I have only sailed with Princess and we've always requested robes in our room so we don't have to pack one. Does RCI do the same thing?

not unless you are at platinum level. Or emerald. I forget and don't bother, they take up too much space.

Grand Suite and above have them also. If you want a robe bring yours. I find the ships are really uncomfortable.

Platinum and above; however, ask your steward, many times they will accommodate your request if they have them available.:)

We had robes in our owner's suite on Brilliance, but they weren't cotton like most hotels. I thought they were uncomfortable too.

only in suites or if you are high enough in C&A Society to warrant the perk.

If you ask your cabin attendant for one, odds are good that you'll get it.

On ncl on any balcony stateroom there are robes always.last time i was at epic first time on an inside and i had robes there also i dont know whether because i am gold at ncl or its all included on the insides as well

Nope. My first time on NCL I got a robe.....without even asking. I think it's a nice touch!

Just don't wear it to/from the pool.:p

I always use the robes in cabins however they're to small for my husband. If your 6'2" and a body builder bring your own.

Interesting posts! Taking RCI for 1st time since 2003 was hoping for a robe! :)

 

A longer cruise, inside cabin, I'll have to think about this one. Being gone for a month, trying to use just one 26" Pullman, don't want to bring a robe!

Did not think they did robes anymore. I am Diamond and on my last two cruises (April 14 and Dec 14) there were none. Never thought to ask, just assumed they were more cutbacks.

To my knowledge, they still give robes to Platinum and above. Just ask the stateroom attendant.

Your room steward will provide them on request, even in the lowliest of inside rooms. However, this is not, not a luxury robe, it is dry and scratchy. If this is an item that brings you comfort on your vacation, use the packing space for it. If you simply want a robe, than this will do just fine.
