Doubtful as it has been out of service for online bookings all day - message to that effect on the bottom of every page.

 

Also, no way it should be available to book prior to when they said otherwise what was the whole point of the sign up for the pre launch info?

Information is from a reliable source. Bookings start on Thursday as stated by RCL.

Thanks. I don't doubt the itineraries are correct, just wanted to make sure bookings hadn't opened overseas early etc. ;)

 

Maybe the poster TomataoSauce may have been referring to the cruises from Europe & not the Sydney ones as having scary prices?

 

Do you have any idea of prices from your source?:)

Decisions, decisions!

 

 

Which also means premium pricing for the cruises covering Xmas and New Years. Well another reason for them justify higher pricing.

How do families afford these prices to travel with children during school holidays?

 

We travelled every year overseas with two children, but wouldn't have gotten far at these daily rates.

 

I suspect their prices are targeted at people who are time poor.

Prices are likely to be sky high. Think i might wait for the second season hopefully prices will come down a little by then. Its likely to be cheaper to fly to American and go on Allure, Quantum etc....

got a pre-alert just now from online TA:

"from $1849 pp twin share (Sydney to Singapore, 14 night, 23Jan17 departure)."

 

On sale from tomorrow.

 

One night less than Singapore to Sydney, but $750 cheaper too pp.

This will cover airfare and a couple of nights in Singapore.....

 

Just had the TA from the charter call me, but I advised that I would look at other cruises through RCL first.

Just received an email from RCL confirming the itineraries set out in my post yesterday. With Ovation spending a short time in Australia prices will probably be high. I know they stated that prices would start at $199 twin share for an inside cabin in their promotions. A number of people have told my local travel agent that they want to book, regardless of the price.

My Australian TA sent me the 26 page Release and the Ovation prices were on p25.

Since I'm a US citizen, I'd obviously like to take advantage of their pricing structure. I hear Australians pay a lot more than we do. But I just called RCI in the States, and they are supposedly not opening these cruises for sale until AUGUST!! By then all the good cabins will be gone. What to do, what to do.... Any brilliant ideas?
